I'm a 54 year old....male...straight....former DJ.... and I've told ALL of my friends about this show! I tell them that even if they can't relate to the characters or where it's set (I'm in the US) that they will absolutely LOVE the music! Clea went above and beyond getting the soundtrack to this story correct. Also, the rave scene.....Energy Flash by Beltram was a total flashback moment! This whole show is incredible! Tegan and Sara also do an AMAZING job narrating the audio book.....so make sure you listen to that. GREAT storytelling!
I'm so hooked on this series. Love the acting and the music is all music I grew up loving. I was a HUGE Nirvana fan, and it was awesome to see that clip of Pennyroyal Tea from the MTV Live set. I learned to play guitar just so i could learn Nirvana songs, and me and my brother actually played together for a while too. I somehow feel a real affinity to the characters because I was at High School (in another country) at the same time. Railey and Seazynn are really great in this series. Love it!

there's a song from Slowdive's Sovlaki that is used MULTIPLE times. i was expecting that one.
