One of the best players on clay, it's a shame he had problems with his knee
Yannick Noah's sliced serve is, technically, one of the best I've seen.
So much topspin. Maybe the most ever.
With modern racquet technique Kents topspin would be even more powerful than Nadal :)
i think there's some truth to that.
doubt have you seen nadals arms n muscles.
It’s possible, he’s a bigger man.
it would be interesting to measure revolutions per minute of Kent, and compare it with present athletes, and past (measured).
Noah at the peak of his game!
Carlsson a monster on clay, knee 😢
Kent Carlsson wrist is completely tight. No loose grip at that time, but great tennis for sure
I think that looking at the point at 7.40 is enough to make very clear why Carlsson career was extremely short. His shot making is so weird, and it takes way, way too much effort.
9:43 Carlsson bh9:50 Carlsson fh
In 1/4 finals, Wilander dispatched Noah in 3 sets.
What Noah do in 8:45 ? How's that shot's name? Is a slice? I dont know, it curves to the side that a topspin wouldnt. Or it was like a kick serve?
Just looks like a bad bounce, can happen when the clay is uneven
@@Dman9fp Yes it was a bad bounce.
Argh. Ken Carlsson's playing could send away flapping the psyche of hardened men. Painful to watch, really :-)
