I'm an umbrella/Sun ☀ person too. I have fair skin and try to avoid direct sun exposure. Hats, gloves, long sleeves are my go to for gardening or yard work. I have a light colored umbrella if I'm going to be out and about, to protect myself from the sun ☀
I have a sun allergy and I get rashes when my skin rubs together, so I need to wear sleeves all summer. I find that a linen or lawn sleeve will keep me cooler than bare skin.

I find them at flea markets, vintage stores and online. I’m always keeping a eye out for them.

An umbrella is essential here is Texas the sun shines from 8am to 8pm.

Oh yes, slips are great for summer time. I wear a slip just about everyday and I also love my slip shorts to combat chub rub!
