This is very well presented. I have been using AISCM's for twenty years, and this was helpful -- I have always done beam- columns with the specification formulae; now I would be just as comfortable using Table 6-1. Students at UWP are fortunate to have this professor -- such opportunities to learn of great value.
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Jaden Peyton I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
No, Table 6-1 is for standard W-shapes. Table 6-1 is also not available in the new manual, which now has a "super table" that you can use to find the factored design capacity for each limit state directly.
I wish my Professor taught us this method. I'm sure he had his reasons, but I'm glad I came across this. Thank you so much!

Your video is excellent. This is one of the more obscure tables. Excellent use of a microphone!

Great analysis and explanation. It helped me understand the use of the table. wish you could do more steel design videos.

It should be warned that Tables 6-1 do not account for Equation H2-1
Where can i find the table 6-1?
