@@saikrupabehera8661 well NMS sir showed a different case where friction force is actually acting on the body or slab in the question If you'll watch NV sir he did the experiment to Clear the concept of Innertia or to be precise Newton's First law of motion. I hope you know that laws innertia only works when there is no external force INCLUDING FRICTION, that's why we take A HIGH MASS OBJECT OR OBJECT WITH HIGH INNERTIA so that we have to put more force to change it's state of motion and WE USE IMPULSIVE FORCE(a large ammount of force given for a low time) TO MOVE THE CARD BELOW so that friction force is so low that it's negligible and unable to move the ball because it can't generate enough friction force to move the ball(or change the state of motion for the ball). On the other hand the lighter ball had LESS INNERTIA meaning I need very little force to change it's state of motion, do you see where I'm going with this? That's why a very lil friction force would be enough to move the ball...
🐥 That's my reasoning but I do have a doubt in my reasoning too which if I were to take very light ball then who would win friction or innertia I don't know

Sir 2nd case mein jab block and planck ek dusre ke respect mein slide kar rahe Hain tab to block par sliding friction applied hona chahiye static friction ke opposite direction mein aur block par lagne wala net force should be the difference between static friction and sliding friction of the block. Sir why you didn't calculate the pseudo force on the block due to the acceleration of plank
I recommend you study this topic again, but here is the the answer
He didn't apply pseudo force on the block because he is NOT solving from a non inertial frame,the whole motion is being observed by ground frame.
You only apply pseudo force on a entity when the observer is himself accelerated i.e in a non inertial frame, so if the observer was on the plank (which is accelerated) only then you would apply pseudo force on the block. It's just a way to apply Newtonian laws in a non inertial frame.

Basically you are viewing the experiment from frictional force pov by changing the shape of the object you can easily change the outcome of this situation cause the same frictional force can keep the object in place incase of a cylindrical or object with low surface of contact like sphere.

Heavy ball ko jyada friction ki wajah se jaldi se pure rolling karta hai aur uski wajah se wo wahi ka wahi roll hota hai aur plank nikal jaata hai. Here in case of NV sir the friction force occurred due to the experiment was not great enough to change the state of motion of the heavy ball because it has greater moment of innertia... NV sir's reasoning is correct but not well explained but the statement "hawe ke pressure ke sudden change keliye ball giri h" is totally wrong 💀 if you conduct the experiment in vaccum the same thing will happen
