I don't see this at homegoing celebrations very often but even at a homegoing celebration, praises like this need to happen. I've played the drums at many homegoing celebrations and I've only played to shouting music like this only once. I don't know Angela Eastling and I never met but from what I've seen on this, I don't think she was complaining about them praising the Lord. When you let the spirit have His way, you shouldn't hold back. Now THAT was a homegoing celebration!
I play drums to a funeral like this the whole church went up and the funeral home dir. Got there praise on and the folks in the kitchen came out and dance

We don't need all these "praise stoppers." Funerals and homegoing services NEED that lift you receive in EXUBERANT WORSHIP; this is more therapeutic than just sitting there, getting sadder and more mournful
by the second. Many people receive salvation, get lifted out of despair, and catch a glimpse of the New Jerusalem when people are allowed to praise God WITH ALL THEY HAVE! It happened at my father's homegoing; the exuberant, extravagant, let-go-and-let-God praise touched unbelievers AND believers...and many folks left the service FEELING BETTER THAN WHEN THEY CAME! God designed praise to also BENEFIT US, THE WORSHIPPERS! People DO respond to the Good News of salvation when they see people REJOICE IN THE GOD OUR SALVATION. The Spirit of God moves freely when people praise God freely...and Jesus changes lives as a result!

In my humble opinion, I believe our Lord is pleased when we praise Him for the deliverance of someone else. Even if HE delivered them via death of the body. Their soul is with Him. That’s worth rejoicing. I believe those musicians understood that.

The first time I watched this was in 2018 and I said that I've never seen a praise break at a homegoing celebration like this. This is 2021 and I'm still saying the same thing today! Although I hate that this was during a sad occasion, I'm happy to see that a praise was happening in spite of! I enjoyed the musicians and this entire video! I usually don't look at too many videos from beginning to end but this is one of them! I never knew Angela Eastling but from what I've seen here, she must've been an awesome woman to be celebrated like that! Sending my love from Chicago and may Angela Eastling continue to rest peacefully in paradise!
I got to get up and go to work but this video has got me in tears!! Glory to GOD. The band (which I never get caught up in) but boy this here band ..... That music.....and when the one with the guitar took off that just made it worse!!! This video has added to my morning being blessed. Man you know it’s God moving when the Bass player took a break to shout. Then that drummer man beat that pocket up smooth on that bass drum. The Keyboard player had to get his praise while trying to keep the band together. Man the preacher wanted to praise. But, he know us black folks will shout all day. So he done all he could lol!! Not to mention my man he sherif running through the crowd while praising. I am dancing myself while witnessing all of this. This is one celebration I hate that I missed and don’t know the lady. So by the crowd she was a God Fearing and loving woman..
