"We Had No Consultation!" Millom Action Group Member Reacts To Houses For Asylum Seekers Scheme

- TalkTV's Nick Ellerby speaks to the people of Millom after houses for migrants were vandalised with police patrols increasing.
The properties in the remote seaside town of Millom are set to be converted into Houses Of Multiple Occupancy (HMOs) with many locals furious at the new plans.
Graffiti has appeared on the side of one of the houses under renovation which read, ‘not welcome scum’, in large black letters which has led to police patrols in the area and the council issuing a call for calm in the area.

Yes We have migrants here now being housed ,Nearly filling one street. . I lived my younger days in this st, I recently went to see my friend there, He is one of very few white people now living there, And our council have over 1000 on waiting list, Vote tory or labour, Your culture and tradition will die.

As more and more of this happens up and down the country to save money on expensive hotels, there will come a point when the locals start to revolt which will get pretty nasty abd violent 😢 As a local, when people with no right to be here gets priority over you on housing, get paid for food and expenses plus NHS access then how would you feel? Something has gone seriously wrong in our country when those in power and authority just simply ignore the needs of the locals who pay for everything and give preference to those who aren't suppose to be there😢

No they will go to Mc Donalds because at the moment there hands are tied with red tape and crap.
Simple if the councils won't involve or talk to the people that actually pay them through the local taxes , then boycott paying them as a protest. If a countrywide, mass organised, non-payment protest is organised it will overwhelm their court systems making them unworkable. They can't arrested everybody.

The government might say these people are paying taxes , but if we diddnt have to pay for housing , electric & gas plus food and no council tax we would all be working paying taxes they have life easy as hell . ! Even me being disabled if I got all the same benefits as these migrants I could try go back to work !
