In this video we got to an Williams Performance organised dyno day at JM Imports!
We made some really good numbers and met some great people including the man himself Marc from Williams Performance! There was also a stunning Stage 2 f80 M3 which made 594BHP!
Want to say a big thank you to the lads from Newcastle for making my stay one I'll never forget!

Incredible results from the Bootmod3 Stage 2 Map, another reason to use the OTS maps as they just perform reliably. Definitely some big things in the pipework, what would you say is next for the M140?

Excellent content as usual im thinking stage 2 + however think I would need to do diff first. As you say these engines are so capable.
Already done diff mate! Get it done! I know a few with big power builds that use the stock e diff, it’s okay with fresh tyres and non track use tbh...wet weather is when it’s needed more if you don’t drive it above 5 tenths

I'm still running open diff with stage 2+ and tbh it's nowhere near as bad as people make out if you've got the underbody brace. It's definitely not got the handling help that an LSD would but, generally it's no bother at all. Still on my list of purchases though.
It's gonna be 450-460 stage 2 without the upgraded hpfp. Not sure what correction factor they are working off 🙄 either way great performance for the money

Yep. Nobody is making 500bhp with stock hpfp. Hampshire photography claimed 480 and even that was bullshit.
Get the b58tu pump for £900 or of you're gonna upgrade turbo get the Dorche and take it to NVM in brum Tim. Dont let these dickheads bloat dyno numbers to drum up business. Also you need a custom dyno map running big power. Not safe to run generics up top. Car could be pulling a shit tonne of timing unless you've been pulling logs and having them assessed.

I have a 340i mppsk myself. Following your build with interest. In two minds about a remap over MPPSK, or just wait a while and go with turbo upgrade with remap.
Is the stage 2 on the M140i b58 only the software or with mods, wich mods? Can someone list it? Thx!
Stage 2 on a b58 consists of just a downpipe mate. I’d go sports cat...

500 bhp on a daily , that’s one hell of a Tesco trip 😅🔥 what’s the fuel ⛽️ on it right now if you don’t mind me asking like with how you drive it below 25mpg ?, I watched Nadia Musa’s video earlier in the year when he said it was costing around 4K in fuel alone and that was at base 350 bhp .
Fuel is fine tbh mate, I don’t drive it everyday I’ve got another car and I’ve given up worrying about fuel 😂 I would have bought a diesel instead 😝
Got mine Bootmod3 OTS stage 2+ (B58TU HPFP) and I can easily get 40mpg on a motorway cruise. Around town it will always suffer a bit but, even on a hard run with the car club in Scottish Highlands last weekend I was pushing 22mpg on really hard driving. Averaged about 33mpg on a slightly quick cruise (60-80) back from Inverness through Glencoe roads with plenty of overtakes too. I will point out that mine is manual too so, not sure if that will factor in majorly.
@@a20axf Do you use premium petrol or standard, I ended up driving a 128ti then e208 , I was using premium Petrol every other fill back in February before the crazy prices .
@@KUDANTOURAGE Ahh nice, the 128ti looks a better value package than new M135i in my eyes. I always use premium fuel since the tune requires it but, it has on the fly switching. So, for long motorway trips where I'll go through a tank just cruising, I can switch back to OEM map and use 'cheaper' fuel. Yeah I paid over £2 a litre the other day for the very first time, what a time to be alive! :) Granted it's not like the tuned 435d I had before but, given it's a 3.0 and tuned to say 460-480bhp (based on similar dyno'd cars, not dyno'd mine to confirm yet) I'd say it's bloody amazing what it can do. Plus I pay cheaper insurance (29 years old) than the 435d I had so win-win!

How do you feel the chassis is coping with the extra power? Even with improved powerflex bushes, springs, shocks etc mine feels like it’s the weakest part of the car now. I’m not sure how well it would cope with a bigger turbo thrown on! 😬
Chassis is coping perfect day to day driving and occasional B road thrash...on track or anything over 6/10nths the suspension is shown up and that’s because it’s not cut out to do that...shocks, camber and track tyres are the best start after the diff when on track after that you’re looking at big money on what is essentially a 1 series...if you’ve got the budget for it like a few mates have, then hat off to ya as you’ve still got one of the best ever engines produced!
@@TimWilliamsHD cheers for sharing that. I’ve tracked radicals and a lotus 2-eleven, but was aiming to turn my 140 into a proper track toy, but as you say, it’s big money!
I felt the same Chris, even after stage 1. Powerflex bushes, LSD, underbody brace didn’t resolve it.
Bilstein B16 kit and m4 arms, now it’s spot on.
@@stevefarrimond that’s interesting, thanks for sharing. I’ve got the brace and bushes, I may need to swap the Motech stance springs and spacers for the m4 lca’s and look at better Bilstein shocks

Haven’t got tyres for it but when I did I got 3.97
What was done besides the pure 800 to the 500whp m140?
