That’s exactly what I needed. I was taking a break from Planet ZOO for a couple months (playing and watching) and this me give the right kick to go back to it. So many inspiration specially for backstage areas and also the wall decoration. I love it. ❤
What a nice zoo! I watched some of the speedbuilds of misakicze, she's really talented. Also, I want to say thank you for this zoo tour marathon, I always love watching your zoo tours because they are so inspiring every time, so this week gives me tons of inspiration and finally made me play again after a few weeks of lacking motivation :D As for the elephants: in nature females and calves live in a matriarchy, meaning all female calves will stay in the herd and the eldest leads the herd (which also means all females are related). The bull calves will migrate from the herd with five or six years and will live in a loosely bachelor herd and then when they reach adulthood they'll roam around more on their own looking for female herds with females ready to mate. Every year adult bulls get a condition called musth which basically is the rut of elephant bulls, in this mood bulls can become really agressive and that's one of the reasons why zoos need a separate space for the bull elephants. Another reason is that - as written above - elephant bulls are not a natural part of an elephant herd and to resemble that they need to have their own space, too. Though there are some bulls in zoos that are relatively calm and nice even during the musth, so they are often together with the herd - but nevertheless it's mandatory for any zoo which want to breed elephants to have at least two separate areas.
What great backstage areas. What is the best order to make back stage areas. 1. Back stage, 2, habitat 3, keeper hut etc. in that order or another order, which is the best?
In Indian elephant social dynamics, males and females exhibit distinct behaviors and group structures. Male elephants undergo periods of musth, marked by heightened testosterone levels and increased mating behavior, typically triggered by age, hormones, and social cues. During musth, males may seek out female herds led by a matriarch, as females typically live in cohesive social groups with strong bonds, providing protection and support. However, outside of mating opportunities, male elephants are generally solitary or form loose associations with other males in bachelor groups, allowing them to roam freely in search of resources and potential mates while reducing competition among themselves.
I am trying to build a tropical jungle zoo in franchise zoo on console but am struggeling how to get jungle foliage right, anyone got tips or knows a tutorial for it?
I don’t understand how people have the patience to build such impressive and realistic buildings!
It’s fun
so true i am really patient with the habitats and animal stuff. But for buildings i don't put much time in

I’m so mad right now. I bought planet zoo console edition on my Xbox, but I can’t play it because I play on Xbox 1. So now it’s just sitting there
Sad
