Dude, I am NOT freaking lying, when I was growing up in the country, we seriously had a pet screech owl. Called him Hoppy. He just came around one day and never left. We had him inside the house even. He'd follow us around outside. That memory just came to me when I saw the owl!
We had a screech owl once on our property out in the country & oh my we were like what the heck is making that sound 😳😂 It only stuck around for a few days & left. Not sure where it came from or where it went?
Just looked up the information on Richard Dreyfuss which was updated yesterday. It said that he was doing well, and he hopes to attend Shark Con next year. So glad to know he’s better!
You need some Rain-X on your windshield. At highway speeds, the water will just bead up and flow right off your windows. You won't even have to put on your wipers. Still need wipers sometimes for non-highway speeds though, but it still helps see so much better.
Best filmed movie scene of all time is in Jaws when actor Robert Shaw reveals the significance of his tattoo. I can watch it over & over & it still gets me. Spielberg just let him do his thing & Shaw knocked it out of the park.🏆
Hubby and I really enjoyed watching this vlog. So many childhood memories with the toy part. My younger brother had most of the Star Wars toys. I call it an atat too, it is just easier to say. He had that as well and I used to play with all his Star Wars stuff.
Adam, you make my day with your videos almost daily. Thanks for your consistency and quality. I’ve been a fan for almost as long as I’ve been alive ur the best
Season passes for Sea World Orlando are reasonable. I just bought the 11 park pass that includes Sea World Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa and Virginia, among others, for only $349!
Jaws is a classic, I usually start or end summer watching it Sharkcon looks really cool 😎 I wouldn’t mind going to that , just finished watching a weeks worth of shark fest and shark week ❤fromTX
I had Toadies Rubberneck album on cassette back in the day, great album!.. what a way to spend a Sunday, toy shopping and a baseball game..and I saw that Angels in the Outfield is finally on Disney plus, I LOVE the movie with Christopher Lloyd and Danny Glover.. haven't seen it in years. Jaws isn't really my favorite series of movies,I sorta stopped after the first one..glad you had a good Sunday and Happy Anniversary to your folks!
That retro toy con was very cool. I actually just bought that Rocky video disc for 2 bucks at the flea market lol. I'm happy you found the Mr. Toad bucket. Your room is looking good too
Saw you a couple times at the game which was pretty cool. Also shouted at ya as we were driving down the road by the stadium lol you turned around and probably thought what the heck.
P.S. We had a screech owl on our property out in the country once. We were like what the heck is that making that sound?! 😳😂 It only stayed for a few days & left. We don’t know where it came from or where it went? And of course it was screeching at night when we were trying to sleep 🤦🏻♀️ lol.
I can’t believe I didn’t know there was a SharkCon. Jaws got me into sharks as a kid so this would be right up my alley! Quick edit: I think I remember Spielberg saying something along the lines of he wouldn’t make Jaws today, and if he did it would be more sympathetic towards the shark. Peter Benchley also spent the rest of his life campaigning for shark conservation after seeing how negative an effect Jaws had on the perception of sharks. He also said he would not have written Jaws if he knew how damaging it would be.
Just want to start off by saying it is nice to come here and simply watch and let the outside world around fade out for a bit. It restores my sanity and helps with a sorely needed shift in perspective. This the ATW Daily Trifecta or Trilogy of the Daily (Tomayto-tomahto). SharkNATO to protect other countries! I went to SeaWorld in 1984 and the park was full of screen used.....everything from Jaws 3D-Leah Thompson was fresh off Red Dawn and headed towards BTTF. Bess Armstrong? The Four Seasons and possibly her own show. Dennis Quaid fresh off Caveman-Ringo Starr, Shelly Long. But I digress......Sea World had a motion ride then and you went in an underwater submarine to find the sunken Cyclops. It was awesome, like Star Tours. Really well done. In 1984, off the coast of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Chip Michalove, affectionately known as the “shark whisperer”, caught and tagged a 3,000-pound, 16-foot great white shark. It was put in a freezer and put on display at that same time at SeaWorld. Love the Mr. Toad popcorn bucket but did you know Bob Gurr has an actual Mr. Toad car in his house? How is Bob? Does anyone know? Inquiring minds want to know, seriously. Richard Dreyfus has issues and I believe one is bipolar disorder. Read about the atmosphere on the "What About Bob" set. Baby steps Dr. Leo Marvin, no hand puppets. Mets still like the Rays: .500+- with radically different salaries. 3 story lines in one video, perfect for my ADHD brain.
@@TheDailyWoo I know you've been to the store and bus stop in its tragic present state but maybe rent a boat and go out on Smith Mountain Lake off Tranquility Rd, about 15 miles away for the house. Evan Almighty was filmed in the same area. Have a good night's sleep before heading out tomorrow. The day you travel, the entire globe goes out. Go figure.
Sea World does still acknowledge Jaws 3... sorta. Capricorn, the dolphin qho starred in J3 lives at Discovery Cove, and you can swim with him! The trainers seem very proud to be taking care of him and showing him off!
Enjoyed this video even though I'm not a huge Jaws fan. I like the movie but not into the fandom. 😊 I do have a question for you....." did you say youths or utes?" I couldn't help myself when you were talking about the slide. 😂 I'm sure you know the quote. Thank you for the video.
Always had to settle for Go-Bots, my parents said "transformers are too much and besides they are both the same thing" And i like the popcorn bucket you picked up
Some cool stuff! That Rocky video disc was actually an obscure format called VHD. It really only got somewhat popular in the UK. It was interesting in that it actually encoded video onto something similar to vinyl. It's clear issues were the same as a record but with the higher density of grooves it was even more sensitive. Laserdisc was very soon after and obliterated the already struggling format. The music videos were for Sega CD and if I recall were essentially VCD, a format that used mpeg-1 (DVD is mpeg-2) and burned on cd. It got big in Asia and South America. Its low quality and storage kept it from getting any real acceptance in the US.
Morning Adam 😎👍📸 seems like your team Tampa Rays will win if there at home but more often loose when there away home. Lol I'm glade they won 👏 thanks for sharing this. Have fun at the shark 🦈 con.
Wow!!! That’s some storm! Here in SoCal if we saw clouds like that - they would just pass over but man you called it! It was a wall of rain!! Hard rain!!⛈️💧… I was watching a video someone took of the firework show @ Magic Kingdom last night and it was pouring and the fireworks still went on!! If we had rain here at ºoº land it would have been cancelled! The storms doesn’t phase the outcome of the what goes on there does it?😄😄 great video! Congrats on finding a Mr Toad’s popcorn bucket👍🏼👍🏼
Richard Simmons passed (may he RIP) and I thought of the vlogs where you were near his house… off to jog as I am at the start of my fit by ?? journey 😃
Adam, I got my Mr. Toad popcorn bucket at a Goodwill store in February for $10. I'm glad you were able to get one. Sometimes you can get popcorn buckets at the Antique Mall. I've gotten Halloween Mickey there.

Our neighbors had a raccoon. I still envy them.
I'll never forget the summer of Jaws! It was an incredible phenomenon! 🦈 😮 😀
Just looked up the information on Richard Dreyfuss which was updated yesterday. It said that he was doing well, and he hopes to attend Shark Con next year. So glad to know he’s better!

The trifecta! Great day of filming, Adam! Hope to see more vids with the parents soon. They are awesome

It was a great time to be alive June 20, 1975, when the Jaws movie came out. I was 11 at the time. Good Times Good Times
The stern pinball Jaws is amazing!! You've gotta check out the full shark cage set up at Funspot in New Hampshire!! The world's largest arcade. 😉

The shark con looked pretty cool but the toy one, what a great collection of old and new. ☝️🙌💪
I love all the Jaws movies, the second is my favorite. I've seen them all at least 100 times, and I would never consider them horror movies. 💖🦈
Noticed that the new camera zoom at least indoors isn’t great. Still has great video outside. Great video!
Great video Adam! And the Toadies Rubberneck album. 2 of there best songs off that album is Away and Possum Kingdom.
