Good flight! I like it a lot. I used to fly hang glider fell a like anxious with paraglider... I even thouht of try it, but no, it is not for me... fixed sail as in hang glider make me feel much safer.
Just trying to learn here: When you really get into the center of the thermal at 12:20 ... why don't you just start doing turns? You kept doing 8s. Was the air so bumpy that it made tight turning impossible? Amazed you came in so high... nice glide 23:00, are you flying on the Lee side? I understand that the sun heats up the rocks on the Lee side. You just have to balance the rotor danger with your distance from the rocks in case of a 50% colapse. 24:06 ... I guess thats why its a catastrophy :D Nice relaxed flying even when the wing is a bit naughty. Extremely interesting to watch full flights like that, where you can see how the decisions were made.
1. thermal at 12:20 - I was simply sniffing the air, if there is something better, there was enough of lift everywhere so I did not need to take every single one beep. 2. glide around 23:00 was not as bad as I expected but still, no good at all. Yes it was the lee side, but I was expecting more compact lift as I have seen the wing highly up over the wall. There were enough opportunities to "scratch" up, but my hands and mind are bit rusty after last two seasons when I have flown very low airtime, and I had mindset "its holiday, not record breaking hammerday" so I decided to try another place which looked suitable with less rotor - eastern wall of Sasso Pordoi. 3. 24:06 "it's total catastrophe" - the downdraft was very depressing me, in one moment it looked I will not make it with reasonable altitude to Pordoi I love that wing, Venus SC, as I have very good feeling of the air around me, maybe it looks naughty, but I prefer more "living" wing over some damped "lazy" one. Some years ago, I did push more, but it was different situation when I had hundreds of flight hours a year. This flight was holiday flying, just to enjoy being in the air, not trying to push limits.
Here is another full flight video, which was supposed to be same "holiday" flight which turned to be battle for return for its whole second half :) It was very good "mindset" training (fly, or to spend other day in public transport to get to the car under start, despite the small air-distance) ruclips.net/video/dnjHm6WyaAc/видео.html
Wind was from Sella Pass (N-NNE), 2-3ms. For webcam pictures from that day you can try colrodella.panomax.com/ they have really nice archive of pictures and wind intensity.
Well, this was on start. Wind gradient I do not exactly remember, but wind was stronger in higher altitudes. Can't say if rotors were dangerous (this is very subjective), you need to try yourself, if you can manage it :)
😱 so if One of those "control lines/steering lines" BROKE...then be cannot control and be will crash and die maby?! Or what if he passout or medical for any reason and he passout he is gonna crash for sure??, please explain?
Thank you so much for uploading this! 💖

Hello very nice and useful video, how was the wind in general (direction and intensity) I saw you took off from the north take off. Thanks!!
Wind was from Sella Pass (N-NNE), 2-3ms. For webcam pictures from that day you can try colrodella.panomax.com/ they have really nice archive of pictures and wind intensity.
@@sagalpeter So the wind was around 10 km/h, in this situation the rotors were not so dangerous right?
Well, this was on start. Wind gradient I do not exactly remember, but wind was stronger in higher altitudes. Can't say if rotors were dangerous (this is very subjective), you need to try yourself, if you can manage it :)
@@sagalpeter Yes you are right!! Thank you!! ;)
Great Job, thankk you.

Broken line is not necessarily a problem, and you should always have reserve parachute. If you pass out, well, that will end in crash for sure.
Na kolik vyjde paraglajd ?
Vybava? Od ~1000EUR za pouzitu po nekonecno. Nove spickove veci v klude mozu v sucte urobit 10k.
what's that computer ticking sound ?
That is variometer, device telling me if I am gaining altitude, and how much by the sound. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variometer
Sou do Brasil
Caravan
Мини Чегем.
Resque parachute ؟
What do you mean? I am always flying with at least one reserve.
@@sagalpeter hi
I fly without parachute
