It should get fixed at all tracks. Cuz I've been noticing that every time gowen beats the qualifying time instead of starting first he starts in the middle of the pack. It's stupid.
@@jaierrescott8886 I think he beats the goal, not the actual lap. Sometimes they put goals for like top 10,15 etc
@@hlo_tato oh yeah, cuz it's a career mode thing yeah. Idk, I still think that after he beats the goal, he can at least start top 5. I know they have goals to beat top 5 lap times but I'm just saying in general LoL

I'm loving Briscoe to RFK, I was expecting one of the 16 or 26 but the 98 is a nice surprise.

Good point, I forgot the 26 was there when I commented. With Kaulig in deep shit the future of that 16 number would have been anyone's guess.
98 was Briscoe's Xfinity number so I think it makes sense
Like Cachinero said the 16 and 26 are already taken, we generally try to keep to the actual rules involving numbers so Kaulig and Andretti has seniority since they're currently using the 16 and 26.
Giving JRM the 8 is a special case since we believe Richard(and/or Austin and Harvick in our case) would give up the 8 to Jr if Jr asked them for it.
Now the 98. It was Briscoe's Xfinity number at SHR, but Roush also fielded it in the Nationwide(Xfinity) series for Paul Menard in 2010 after buying the team from the dying Yates Racing. The team would shut down after 1 year when Menard left Yates to go to RCR. So it felt like the best number to use since it has history with both the driver and the team.
We had many discussions about what number to use, it felt like every other day we had to revisit it. Mostly because almost every number Roush has used in Nascar are taken by other teams so there wasn't an obvious choice like the 33 for RCR or 88 for JRM. Some of us wanted to say screw Kaulig and use the 16 while others wanted to use a number not currently being used by a team. Other numbers we considered were the 50, 61, 66, 70 and 71, ultimately the 98 won out. Like always D-Money and Cachinero have wiped up some great schemes for Briscoe.

*For a superspeedway race there was relativley little volatility in the overall standings
*The big story is Owen winning. He's been the best driver all year, is now tied for the most wins this season, and is now the easy favorite for the championship. The max amount of points you can gain on a driver in 1 race is 59 points and he is 117 up on Larson, meaning he is nearly 2 full races ahead of second.
*At this point it would take multiple bad races for Owen to lose the championship, not just one. However, Larson's misurable race today showed us it can still happen to anyone.

i got lepaged by aric almirola one time which caused a quad tier ass pack with me and kyle busch in the middle and austin dillon in the back of it, talladega sucks in heat 5 for pit stops, the ai turn into kevin lepage

Gary just didn't change the track map icon. Changing schemes and number icons is very tedious so Gary only changes the paint schemes for the lower series to save time.
