Philippines travel VLOG #1. Winnipeg, Canada to Manila, Philippines flight.

First trip to the Philippines since I was a kid.
I was born in the Philippines and left to go live in Canada with my mom when I was 2. Went back once when I was 10 and had no desire to go back as I hated the heat. And being chubby when I was younger didn't help.
Now that Im older and have an amazing partner, she has given me a reason to visit our beautiful home land.
Our first trip was originally scheduled for August 2023 with my partner, but I had a workplace accident 4 days before our flight, where I had to undergo emergency brain surgery (craniotomy for epidural hematoma). Spent 4 days in the hospital and months of recovery.
Going to spend 5 weeks in the Philippines.
Thanks to my girlfriend Sherry for making this trip happen for us.
