Darn you!!!! Every video causes me to spend more money! Honestly, since I don't usually need color-shifts (except for the U.S.S. Enterprise "refit") and maybe other StarFleet ship iterations?
Maybe I will get back into cars....I have two 1968 Corvette kits, one could go "classic", the other "special". That's the point of this hobby.

I actually mistakenly bought a set of these after you reviewed the chrome ones. I hadn’t read the labels clearly. The paints are great though. Dry nice colors and finish. Still have to get the gold chrome one though.

tinmetal grey is one of my faves, only annoyance is the rapid splitting of the pigment and medium in these, but their metal pigments are top of the pile when it comes to acrylic hobby paints. kinda surprised they went so dull through the airbrush, i find they retain a fair bit of shine when just brushed on. would love to see them over silver as well

A note on the plastic spoons. Most manufacturers are likely using a food grade mold release when creating plastic cutlery. I always buy the 100 box, and wash all of them at once, just like doing the dishes. Afterward, each one gets wiped off. A couple swipes from a 3,000 grit sanding sponge from walmart, and another wipe off. I've also successfully used windex to clean them. Acrylic paint goes on just fine after that. I don't know if it is the release agent or the plastic itself but, I've noticed acrylics like to run, pool and puddle. They'll also pull away from high spots and edges, if I don't clean the spoons first. Either way, a good primer is always recommended. (Note: Any and all "mold release agents" may or may not be in my mind)

innterested to see whether this is better, or if the greenstuff world pure metal pigments that you mix yourself with some of their thinner is best. Im not certain but the pigments may be better through an airbrush and thus be the king of chrome metallic golds.

Just a suggestion, but I would like to see a comparison to the real metal where possible/practical. Very few reviewers seem to do this on metal test videos. Anyhoo thanks for the info, some great looking paints.

Never heard of this company. I see they’re out of Spain. Just like Vallejo, AK and MIG which are water based acrylics sold in 17ml dropper bottles. I wonder if a lot of it is the same stuff. I see they also carry many hobby supplies and even cheap air brushes.

You want the colour shift OVER the filter, so the filter is a base for the shift. Applying the filter over the colour shift just obscures it.

Great Video as always, I have been building models for most of my life but most detail painting by hand and bodies painted by spray can. I have decided to jump head first into trying out air brushing. All of the paints I have bought are acrylic water based and I hear you always talking about using a good primer coat before laying down the color coats. What primers are good that work well with water based acrylic paints?

Hello very interesting video as I cannot easily find the "real" results for the different colors on modelism website. I plan to try some on 1/24 cars. I usually use Tamiya / Gunze / Streetblisters paints. Could you please tell me if I can realize the 1:1 dilution of the GSW metal color with Tamiya acrylic thinner (X20 A) or Mr Hobby (Mr color levelling thinner) ? thanks

Thanks for all of your videos. I am a beginner and these videos have helped me immensely!
I don't know if you have covered this or not, but between greenstuff, molotow, or spaz chrome, which do you like the most and how can i make them stay on my 3D PLA prints? I know you have mentioned that a clear coat dulls some of them.
