Wow. Just wow. I am no craftsman at all, but when I watch you working sometimes it makes me feel I still should try to do wonderful things like this. For that alone you are my hero.
The colours of resin are lovely and I like how they've gone with the cones it's another master piece by you . Your videos are great and you always amaze me well done , the resin you put on the end really makes it shine well done
Honestly i just use some mica powders off from ebay. Some not even branded. With this pour the resin was sitting on the side for few hours so when it was poured into the mould some colour separation created the cool effects.
I think it would be awesome to try suspending a bunch of coins in the resin and seeing if regular tools could turn it. Otherwise I guess you'd have to go with carbide tools, and probably on a metal lathe or a wood lathe turned up to max speed.
I have been collecting them in bigger container with some wood piece in it. Plus I have many small silicone mould for all sort of projects so when I have extra resin I just use them too with the hope one day I will accommodate them into projects.

Probably my favorite piece so far. The smaller size and more fanciful shape are features you should continue to experiment with.
That is so pretty! The colours are spectacular! And I'm starting to think that pinecones were created to be put in resin. Just beautiful!

100 k subscribed omg 😱
Is that a good or bad thing? 😀
they have invented sound ought to try it
i need to know what brand and name of the pigments/micah powder you are mixing to get this amazing color...amazing as usual
Honestly i just use some mica powders off from ebay. Some not even branded. With this pour the resin was sitting on the side for few hours so when it was poured into the mould some colour separation created the cool effects.
finish came out nice. did you have any issues with bubbles or sagging and whatnot? i’ve heard they can be finicky.
I use a pressure pot what helps with bubbles
Fantastic piece. What is that material that you applied to get the final shine? Thanks.
Thank you! Cheers! It is thin layer of coating resin
I think it would be awesome to try suspending a bunch of coins in the resin and seeing if regular tools could turn it. Otherwise I guess you'd have to go with carbide tools, and probably on a metal lathe or a wood lathe turned up to max speed.
Soft metals such as brass, alu and copper would be fine with carbides. I did some projects with metal have a look my others vids
@@DavidsWoodturning Thanks. I will check out your other content :-}
Excellent!!!.. where did you get your signature coin made at? That you put at the bottom. I'd like to do that also.
Check out von hanke on etsy
Great piece. Can I ask where you get the baseplates with your logo on it.

What was the curing agent you used? Was it only 1 coat?
Yes one coat of coating resin
What do you do with the left over resin from these small pours?
I have been collecting them in bigger container with some wood piece in it. Plus I have many small silicone mould for all sort of projects so when I have extra resin I just use them too with the hope one day I will accommodate them into projects.
What type of epoxy is that? 1-1 that you can pour deep like that
It is Vista Ocean resin. 2:1 ratio. This was not even a deep pour. I have done much bigger ones without failure.
Вeautiful.....💪🔪🍷))))))))))
Thank you so much 😊
What is it?
Mini vase. Part of my new collection
Из неё пить можно?
Да, но это ваза...
