I was just so worried as my mother in law is coming from Canada to here to visit and there is a terrible storm coming in New York and her flights have been delayed. Grandma Da'thy's Kitchen , God bless you I knew when I first saw your channel there is something special about you. I was born and raised in Georgia and I grew up around some of the best homemade buttermilk biscuits, okra and things these children don’t seem to care about. We didn’t have weight problems cause we had chores and choir practice and family meetings and gardening and the big treat for us was waiting on the first spring greens we had planted and tended to. Food was so much better when you grew it. I feel sad about your heat we just had that here and once the thunderstorm hits New York it will hit us in the southern New England states. God bless.

Dear Grandma Da'thy, I haven't had tuna casserole for years, but when I saw your recipe I just can't wait to make it. Only have to get a few items from the store. I also enjoyed tea time Bible class with you, only I was drinking Ice Tea because I'm in the Joshua Tree Desert (down near Palm Springs) and it was 115 today. I so enjoyed the subject of speaking only good words and not getting all riled up by that Ole Devil, words do have power either positive or negative. My Grandma always told me if I didn't have anything nice to say don't say it. Scientists even did a study where they spoke hateful words to a glass of water and then loving words, with some kind of high power camera they took photos, and do you know the water molecules that had the hateful words spoken looked ugly and the molecules with the loving words looked like snowflakes. I think the tone of your voice can either be helpful or not. We all need to speak God's promises and Bless others around us, even though it is not the easiest thing to do.
