Was pretty surreal to realize I was sitting between Sue and Clay! Glad you both enjoyed the show, it was a blast 🎉

I was at this show (judging from the footage, I was sitting a bit further to the left of you guys, right behind where people were entering the bowl). It was my 10th time seeing them. They always bring so much energy and great vibes, and the best part with every show of theirs is you never know what you’re gonna get.
When they started playing “You Can Be Your Silhouette” I almost cried. Sketches of Brunswick East is my fave Gizz album and they very very rarely play stuff off of it. Rest of the show was epic as well, of course!

@@walterlippmann6292 This show was sick. Red Rocks is music Mecca for me since I first saw it back in the 80s in U2’s video for Sunday Bloody Sunday.
What a show! I must have been a little to the left of you guys. I was scanning the crowd but didn't see you guys. Still feeling it Monday morning. lol. I don't recover the way I once did. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish though.

@secondhandreactions Australia! Gizz shows are getting pretty rare over here. And im 1000km from the nearest city. So ive only seen them once.

Glad you guys had a blast. Unfortunately couldnt make it over for this US tour from the UK, but I had a blast following their Eu tour this year. One of the best things about them is other than a few songs you never know what you will get from this discography, even on the same tour, so they always are a band I can see multiple times and never get bored.
The guy in the chat mentioned stu crowd surfing into a lake. Well one of the shows I went to in 2017 in Brighton, UK. Stu crowd surfed into the sea out from the venue. You can find the video as King Gizzard - Crazy Brighton Beach Baptism. Also if you ever wanted to meet them, they are often hanging around after the shows for a little bit.

Had to work during this but am watching now! You’re at the ‘Le Risque’ transforming live. It’s crazy how some tunes that were ‘meh’ (the Gizz version of meh, which means cool song, just not one I love) are now in my favorites like ‘Magma’, ‘Magenta Mountain’ and a few others after seeing them live. Thank you for this recap! So happy for you guys.

Had to jet but I feel you on the Red Rocks show. Was so happy to see em for 6 times they've been there so far.
Now that I moved I'm skipping em this year to drive out to the Gorge show in Washington, Acoustic show in San Diego, local PHX show, and the 3 hour marathon in Austin. Gonna be another sick Gizz tour!

Also I’ve been to Austin a bunch for music festivals. It’s such a fun party town, that would be a great one to go to also!

On people going to hard, 2022 RR N3 a dude kept trying to talk to me about my sweater (for over half an hour) while Gizz was playing and then eventually shoved his buddy down the stairs.
Def was ruining the vibe till we got security involved.
