Seward Alaska: Top 5 Things to Do in 3 Days

Seward, Alaska: Part 1 of our 10-day road trip through Alaska.
Spotlight on the Kenai Fjords Glacier & Wildlife Cruise with Major Marine Tours.
For the first three days of our Alaskan adventure we explored the small fishing town of Seward, the largest city south of Anchorage! For our time in Seward, we stayed at The Tides Inn (Booking.com) in a 3-bedroom family room. We had lots of room to spread out and had our own kitchen.
The first day we spent driving from Anchorage to Seward (rented a car) and the second day we booked a 7.5 Hour Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise with Major Marine Tours where we visited two active tidewater glaciers and saw an abundance of wildlife like porpoises, sea otters, whales, sea lions, bald eagles, and more!
The third day we explored the Alaska SeaLife Center which was really fun for the kids! The touch tank allows you to get up close and personal with sea cucumbers, starfish, shrimp, sea urchins, and so much more. Below you can watch seals swim and play in the waters. The bird sanctuary is filled with all of the birds we saw on our cruise, our most favorite-- puffins!!
That afternoon we drove to the EXIT Glacier park and saw a moose on the way! Starting at the trailhead, we walked up to EXIT Glacier and played in the glacier outwash. It's an easy trail to navigate but we did have to circle the parking lot twice to find parking at 1:30pm.
