The bass in this recording made the entire concert so much better, but the extensions in opiate got my legs doing double kicks
Never thought Pushit would be back in the set
God, that drum sound is just INSANE.
Feb 22nd in D.C.! Can't wait. Taking my 16-year-old son. His mom is mad because he'll be tired in class the next day.
You're making him go to school the next day? Daaaaamn Dad, be cool...hook a brother up with a Dr.s appt or some shit. Lol!
So glad I went. This was my first tool concert and boy, I couldn’t have picked a better one to go to. They played all of my favorites.
My son and I were here and then Tacoma the next night! 🤘🤘🤘
56:33 IS HE GONNA DO IT??? Such suspense lol
HE DID IT!!!!
Holy fucking shit...that was UNREAL! Dude, THANK YOU for posting this!!!! Straight up, even If I still had a job I could never have made it to a show and you risked your seat for jackoffs like me to experience this...EPIC. You're the MAN!!
Holy shit, they really mixed up the setlist this time around! Cool!
Apart from a couple of insignificant fuckups, this is DOPE!!! And if the world doesn't end until May 21, I will see them live for the first time. Dude, I'm so hyped up. :x
Seen them twice...They have gotten boring over the years, sadly.
@@TrentonTrent I've never heard this lol
@@runninman61 Me and and my friends actually walked out during the second time we had seen them. Maynard just stayed in the shadows yet again... I could just listen to one of their cds and it would be the same thing. No energy, no communication with the crowd, no interactive behavior. Just plain boring. Alanis Moriesttte or however you spell her name was better live that tool.
The world isn't going to end... the lefty marxist party is
@@TrentonTrent careful.... your emasculation is showing
Obrigado por este momento. Sou português e, de momento, não há data para um concerto de Tool em Portugal. É um país pequeno, mas com uma base de fãs enorme. Talvez ainda nos surpreendam até ao final do ano! Depois posso morrer feliz!
1:25:16 It’s GONG TIME!
Love what that moment of the song does to me when listening to it. Like a big bag of clarity and beauty!
Thank you!❤️❤️❤️
the live sound is so dope
The boys are back!!!
Here we go again!!!!!!!! that sound is dope my friends......
This is some high quality audio!
Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I got to hear Pushit live lol absolutely legendary show
Setlist is dope, the opposite of all the radio friendly songs . Thanks Maynard
I was at this show as well. Read that Danny hit the Richter scale twice this night. Thanks for getting the full show. Glad I can replay this night.
Love how they mixed up setlist this time around. Would love to see right in two live. Just don’t like how Maynard changes adds the lyrics before the breakdown. I thought it was a mess up the first time I heard but this is the 3rd video he does it in.
Only happened in Eugene, he did it good on all the other shows.
Which breakdown
You should have heard him do hooker with a penis in Tacoma. He changed "in between sips of coke" to "in between sips of white claw" and he changed "you bought 1" to "you bought them all" and then he changed "spend more money" to "spend more Bitcoin." 🤣
The sound of this show is amazing.
Fuck yes opiate!!!!
Feb 10th Miami BE THERE!!!! CANNOT WAIT
Btw, good video content and quality sound!
Incredible!!! Any chance you have Tacoma as well? That was my third Tool show, and by far the best I've been to.
Tacoma was BADASS!
Thanks dude. Just shared the link.
😊😊
I was at this show!
release the GONNNNNG.
17:17 he did it
Sounds good except for the guy singing beside you... you know the guy who doesn't know the lyrics. 🤣😂🤣
You mean the one who keeps saying "oh yeah"?! LOL
Good catch by the band at around 1:10:40 - Maynard began the hook earlier but the rest of the band saved his ass lol
Be careful with that axe Eugene
Holy shit, this is the first time Maynard has attempted the Grudge scream in... how long??
Last time was 2002!
sounds like he has that covaids lung
I'm really surprised that he's attempting these vocal acrobatics like the high part in The Patient, the Opiate ending scream, and Pushit (which isn't easy to sing as a whole), given his lung injury. Not all the way back to his prime days, of course, but remarkable nonetheless

Guacamole is better with cilantro
no recording
I can’t stand that dork singing and talking over the recording. So brutal 😖
TOOL - A EXPERIENCE WHERE THE COPS ARE THE GOOD GUYS AND THE BAND ARE TOOLS (in the bad sense)
Saw TOOL, and it was not that great a concert. Maynard is the same voice in every song - droning pathetically on and on … the beats are monotonous, the drums and bass of no special importance - like a child learning the drums and just banging on them till you yell “give it a rest junior”. The guitar - any guitarist could replicate, with little effort.
TOOL is a head band where if you’re stoned out of your mind or on LSD, you might enjoy it - but then isn’t any music enhanced by being high?
I suggest if you want to really see a mind blowing genius of an act - see NIN this year (2022) Trent Reznor is truly a showman and a marvel to watch. Each tour is a different experience- TOOL is a rehashed circle of noise that doesn’t change from one album to another.
The most disturbing factor to the TOOL concert was watching people removed for simply pulling their phones out of their pockets! No shit! TOOL has a strict rule of no picture or video taking. This is fine, as we see this at almost every event for every artist today - but to be thrown out of a concert. I saw at least 100 individuals escorted out, and as I watched more closely - these people weren’t taking pictures - so the rule is don’t even touch or look at your phone at a TOOL concert. Even more strange is the cops hate it. I talked to people removed and they stated the police said they hate this band and it’s the bands policy to throw out, not the police. Wait, the police are the good guys? 😊
Throw out your fans? Comically, the new tour (2022) was filmed in full in Miami - you can watch it on you tube, with dozens more videos posted across their tour. Guess they don’t catch everyone.
Here is my take:
It’s clear why TOOL has the policy they have - they are not that good, and they need to suppress social media on themselves because once you see it, it’s over and they don’t want an official record of any tour because it’s the same basic show tour to tour - with different lights flashing on them.
I cannot support a band that treats their fans this way - especially a mediocre band trying to pretend they are gods. TOOL will have no lasting legacy in history like a Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, or Black Sabbath.
Dude you just aren't a tool fan..and I love NIN.. but two diff bands. Same with Primus.. you love em or hate em :)
@@insolator1775 NO -you’re wrong -
I loved TOOL till I went to a concert. The security gig throwing people out changed my whole view of the band. Never in my whole life have I seen such a thing. No fan should be good with this and certainly not supporting that behavior from security toward fandom.
Hate is a promoted by-product of TOOL AND MAYNARD AND HIS STUPID RULES. I’ve been to thousands of concerts. I was appalled at people getting thrown out for nothing. It was Gestapo style. Guess he likes that - thinks it’s cool or artsy - it’s not! In our society with all the hatred on blacks, from KKK, to white supremacy - TOOL concert atmosphere seems to promote this societal breakdown. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Their security people are like nazi henchmen. Maynard is no John Lennon, or Bob Dylan, or Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Led Zep, or OZZY … taking ideas from philosophers or other great readings doesn’t make him a genius. As he’s aged he’s simple a short troll of a human being. It’s rather sad.
The band as I’ve stated is a monotonous blather of bass, drums and droning vocals that repeat again and again song after song. Nothing new or innovative about them - just a fancy light show trick to convince the crowd they are good. They’re not!
TOOL SPREADS HATE WITH THEIR SECURITY
