Chicharon Bulaklak | Kusinela

Chicharon bulaklak, also known simply as bulaklak, is a popular Filipino dish made from deep-fried pork mesentery or omentum, which is the fatty membrane that covers the intestines. It is a type of chicharon (crispy pork rind), but unlike the regular chicharon that is made from pork skin, chicharon bulaklak is made from the thin and lace-like lining that surrounds the pig's intestines.
Chicharon bulaklak is often enjoyed as a crunchy and savory accompaniment to beer or other alcoholic beverages, as well as a popular street food snack in the Philippines.
