Congratulations on your sobriety. I think the sell of alcohol is all about the money can you imagine how much taxes is collected every year it has to be in the billions. Like you my alcohol increased during covid, it's been 6 months for me and I feel awesome. I'm back at the gym now, it's been 4 months and I haven't had a cigar in over 6 months. I will never drink again......
Marking the days off one by one! Glad to hear you are feeling better and are proud of yourself! Don’t feel guilty or anything about saying you are a recovering alcoholic. My grandfather is an alcoholic with no guilt or shame and I just wish he had the pride to say he has a problem like you Paul. That was an excellent testimony. Videos I was addicted to alcohol cocaine opioid pills and heroin. The only reason I'm still here and alive today and completely cured is because of Jesus Christ and His Mercy. Like you I also should have been dead at least 20 times over. God has spared your life so many times Paul and this is something you cannot deny. There has to be something inside of you that knows there is a greater power over us, every breath we take is a gift from God. Repent for your sins and ask him to reveal himself to you and he will. He is a loving father who wants nothing more than our heart and a relationship with us. Scripture says we are pointed to die once and then immediately judgement. Time is running out and the door will close very soon for all of us. The only thing that matters as we draw our last breath is if our name is written in The Lamb's Book of Life. I follow you for a year and a half and I pray for you always brother 💙
Very well said, When the neurologist told me that the cause of my problem was from the combination of repeated head trauma as a kid plus the ministroke back in 2011 and that the alcohol consumption just made it worse,. I almost didn't believe him when he told me this, but it also made sense since these episodes were happening on days that I didn't drink. I told him I would quit that day and I did, and I will never drink any type of alcohol again.
