    Adrian you are a beautiful artist. Your generosity and your passion for what you do in all regards is so moving and inspiring. I truly now have an insight on what I need to do with my work and how to share it with the world. Most importantly I've learned from you a new way to look at my work. Past and present. Your vision and your skill are as fine and emotional as anyone could ever hope for. Thank you sir for all.
    A new friend. FL

    Thank you immensely for sharing your experiences. Restricting the choice of image size sounds like a very practical idea. Also offering a single type of frame or an unframed option should satisfy most clients. Thank you so much for sharing, most generous.

    HIya, Love your playlists. How did you start to generate print sales early in your photography career. I have built a darkroom and have a large portfolio to print up but struggling to find clients to sell too, I love shooting black and white film nothing beats it,
    Best.

    Good video but it would be nice if you signed the print, it adds a nice personal touch. Your customer would really appreciate this. You have beautiful work.

    Drop shipping is a good solution for your situation. I prefer to print at home now. Having to wait for enough prints to place an order was slowing my work process.

    • @aows
      @aows  4 года назад

      Yeah, I love it. I can order them one by one so no waiting for me. But everyone's situation is different, I'd love to be able to print my work myself. Maybe in the future.

    Do you have any recommendations for fine art photography drop shippers in the EU?

  • @jlcurt

    How do you calculate taxes and stuff for printing from EU? That's the biggest question for me. I'm in Spain, if I use an american drop shipping company how is IVA figured out? ahhh

    I know this is an older post, but timely for me as I'm looking into setting up a small online shop for my BW images. I do this now for my map design shop on Etsy using Printful as my drop shipment company (www.etsy.com/shop/MapBliss). The matte print quality is great, but they don't do mats for the prints, just rolled or framed. If you don't mind sharing, I'd also love to know who you work with in Texas. Cheers.

    Por cierto que papel elegiste para tus trabajos?.......muy bueno .Yo lo hago ahora en una imprenta del pueblo ,miramos el resultado primero en su ordenador calibrado con la impresora ,por si hay que matizar algo,imprimimos una esquina de la foto,y con la conformidad ,hacemos la ampliación (habitualmente me encargan grandes tamaños ),pero tienen poca selección de papel,estoy por comprar yo mismo el papel y solo hagan ellos la impresión.
    Que empresa utilizas para enviar tus trabajos?,igual lo has dicho pero se me ha escapado .Hay una que se llama enviamelo o algo parecido ,que se especializa en enviar a concursos y ademas te la recogen después de terminar el concurso y te lo traen a casa de nuevo
    Me sigue encantando la del Golden Gate ,algún día te la compraré .

    • @aows
      @aows  6 лет назад

      Tener impresora te da mucho más control, también más dolores de cabeza :) En el futuro espero poder montarme una darkroom para imprimir las fotos de forma tradicional, por eso estoy guardando todos mis negativos. Para cuando me jubile :P
      Sobre la empresa que uso, es FinerWork. Hay muchas, pero esa fue una de las primeras que probé y la verdad que muy bien. No sabía lo de empresas que te mandan fotos a concursos! He de mirar.
      La foto esa probablemente sea la siguiente. Tengo dos y aún estoy pensando cual poner.
      Un saludo!

    Thank you for this, this is something i have been thinking about but have not considered drop shipping. Even though i have my own printer, think i got the same one as you did. I have a local print/frame shop i use here in the UK that does excellent work so i think i will pop in and see if they do drop shipping :)

      @@IvanVasyliev oh, true, I didn't remember what was in the video, it was a while ago :) I did buy a "cheap" Canon Pixma, I don't remember the model, but it didn't work at all for my black and whites. They all came with a magenta cast when printing in high quality.
