I love the idea of the sit-down picnic space but I'd never feel at ease doing that. Me: "What a nice picnic spot, let's sit down here!" Two other families: (fight breaks out, stroller gets pushed into the picnic area where I'm seated) Me: "Damn shame that I have to pack up and go somewhere safer."
20-25 years ago we lived at Disneyland Toontown w small kids. Family lived in Anaheim, we travelled out 1-2x year. The kids all met Mickey there. Fond mrmories.
I value these reviews. Previously I would have never eaten in Toontown. At most I'd get a drink but that was it. Nothing about the previous Toontown food looked that great. Mostly you only ate at ToonTown to get a table, unless there weren't any in which case you just moved onto to somewhere else. Based on what I've seen here I now have more information than just a picture on a menu.
Lol…the woman behind you squeezing a pimple on her hubbies face on the ECV’s while your showing the popcorn bucket! Other than that I love the picnic basket and blanket…soooo cute!
@@SusanStypa I went back, watched, and giggled🤣😱. I appreciate the reviews of the food. I'll be there in Sept with a grandchild and this may be useful information then.
Thank you for your honest review. My grandsons are 6 and 3 and we are going to Dland in early December so I know to skip eating in this area--definitely will try the Boba tea though and my daughter may want to do the Joffreys coffee.
I had some "adequate" marinara sauce on a pizza today, and it wasn't from a theme park; it was from a single-location, privately-owned pizzeria in my hometown. So apparently even specialized pizza-only restaurants aren't immune to poor pizza sauce.
WDW News, Tom, with so many different reviewers out there and everyone likes different food items but they all like the drinks. So basically any of the menu items are all adequate and they are a good size for the price. Picnic basket and blanket are pure genius and "ToonTown" is all topped off by a great sound track. The ride that needs fixing is "Rodger Rabbit" Cheers, Chris Perry.
I saw you at the park yesterday and convinced myself out of an in-person compliment because I didn't want to say hello in front of the Fantasyland bathrooms.
I knew that hotdog was overcooked when you couldn't break it off like everyone else did. Lol! 😆 Oh! And you needed the chili sauce for the little corn dogs. Apparently it's better than the chili on the hotdog. Lol! 😆 (You got it with the chips.) Everyone loved the hotdog, hated the cold brew and said the flop over pizza was better than Pizza Planet. Each to their own I guess. Lol! 😆 Wow! The donuts were hard too. Everyone else said they were soft and fresh. You definitely picked the wrong time of day to eat. I feel bad for you. Sad! 😢
I’ve watched several other RUclips’s and streaming eat all the food and they said everything was basically fantastic but besides about 2 things. At this point Tom is just being a Karen and it’s sad
Tom is often a “New YorK’ cranky guy when it comes to the park food. This is exactly what families with kids often want. As for the hot dog, it looks to be a natural-casing dog (you can see by the tip at the end) which is usually a chewier “Chicago” style dog - not like the mushy ones you often get. I prefer that, but I know most New York style dogs are just steamed and softer. I will say the dog did look like it was over cooked and sat awhile before it was served. But also remember that by the time Tom gets the food, takes photos, eats other items first, by the time he eats the hot dog it has sat much longer than it should have.
I trust Tom’s opinion over other Disney youtubers personally, who will lie and rave how great amatuer food served at Disney parks is so they can gain followers and possible perks from Disney itself. Tom is a true fan who tells it like it is.
Please use a mic when you are out doors with a crowd. I turned off the video only seconds after looking forward to it, because I didn't want to strain my ears trying to listen.
My favorite part of any food review with Tom is seeing the deep regret in his eyes every time he takes a bite of theme park pizza

Thank you for these reviews. It saves us money and saves us from throwing away food. Glad to see toon town is back.
The color and shape of the umbrellas is a perfect fit for ToonTown!
What's your favorite thing about Mickey's ToonTown?

Better than is WAS. Good ENOUGH! LOL! Like the basket, blanket + popcorn Box w/salt warning. Also Power Limes.

The kids loved Disney Land. They came back with light saber. NICE.
So much beige-brown on that table.
I’m going to just avoid the food in toontown and get a ronto wrap!
I’ve seen several tours of the new Toontown and I want the soundtrack - it’s fantastic!
There's an acoustic version of "Eye to eye" from A Goofy Movie playing in the background and it totally made me zone out for a sec.
I love the area backround music!
yaaay more "adequate to fine" dining options.. thanks Disney!
Fine dining means quality ingredients, not costco overstock about to go bad.

I love Jeffrey’s! When we had to go back home from DW I started buying in on Amazon. Lol

:(
There was something about the placement of the wrap on the oranges that made me spit out my drink. 😳
That popcorn bucket is awesome

Looking forward to going in the next few years and most definitely for the 70th.
Tom, love your food reviews but would love if you started doing a rating system in addition to your review like from 1-10
Can't wait to eat there next time!
H/T to WDW but Disneyland and DCA have better sound scapeing. Nice review, but the Corndogs in DL are perfect. Sod those simple Nuggets. 😘😍
The oranges mixed with the wrap/burrito look like a sex toy! It's crazy but true. No intentions made. Just saying bc I can't stop laughing
Calling it a flop over makes it sound like a flop. Lol
Tom I was wondering if you could do like a rating out of 10 or 5 for the food and drinks in the future… Helps me to better understand how good it is 😅
How long did you wait to eat the food? Everything looked cold. Would the food items be better if they were hot?
It was still hot
the corn dogs are the only food that looks good
I like Tom’s reviews.
Will there be a video about his views on the new toontown? Just curious.
Tom I can’t to try the food some day
Wow I can't belive they sell better pizza than New York slop!
Joffrey's is way better than Starbuck's!
That girl has a cute laugh
15:49 I’d love to know if they could serve the wrap as a salad without the wrap.
I don’t know that they would but you could just open it I suppose
Where’s m’boy Charly!
Charly is gone sorry
@@WDWNT aw! I loved Charly. Hope he's well.
Thanks for putting your life at risk to show us what not to eat. RIP. I makes me wonder who decides to sell this junk.

Based on the reply, I was expecting bad reviews but he liked most of the items.
U
Dumb question… y’all live in Florida or California? Lol
We have park reporters in Florida and California. Tom lives in Florida.
It's a menu for kids!!!!! What were they expecting ?!?! To find a gourmet meal at toontown 😒
These people are man children
I wouldn’t feed the kids pizza to an animal, never mind my children.
Tom has braces?
I do
