Guess who's getting their wish? If, and it looks like it will, Shredder's Revenge takes a lot of it's cues from Turtles in Time its going to be a fun ride.
THIS IS THE BEST TRACK ON SOR 4 by far m...mad funky melodies mixed with jazz saxophone epic beat....proper sounds like a Sor track by Yuzo...but it's the French dude who produced this.. We needed more of this on the game in general
First listen to the songs of SOR1y shinobi from sega megadrive and then you tell me ... those of this game do not surpass them by far ... they are only worth this and the one in the intro of the menu compared to those of yuzo kosira these are they remain in blankets
The jazz has a jazz from NYC vibe. I say that as a guy from Liverpool who visited NYC in September before lockdown. I adored this game & Yuzo’s music as a child (playing it when I was old enough). Now, it’s been a while & they have re-released this gem. I don’t even think Sega could have done a better job. This game is a masterpiece and remains true to the original if not better (than SOR1, SOR3 especially). SOR2 was something else but this game brings that grime and nostalgia back with that neo-Tokyo feel together with those retro soundtracks. Towards the end of the song, you can hear the nostalgic 16-bit style instruments that, in and of themselves, takes me back. I’m gonna put a RUclips video of me beasting Mania, getting S Rank, stage by stage. I’m then gonna do another one as co-op, beasting Mania, getting S Ranks, stage by stage. I have Warzone, FIFA, Modern Warfare Multiplayer, Apex & Division II that I am playing simultaneously but this game is too damn addictive and fucks your fingers up. Long story short, I got to jive to this shit whilst slapping the head off of Galsias with their shitty knives.
Any other lovers of old house/rave/techno here, tell me: Do you sense roots of really early Sonido De Valencia in some of Olivier's tracks? I'm wondering if that's what he was going for, like an updated version of that sound.
I think this might be the song that stuck in my head the most. I'm pretty sure the melody is a remix of SOR 1 level 7 the one where you're going up the exterior elevator / scaffolding. It's a shame this track ends right as the bit-crushed samples start kicking in around the 2:10 area because that's the part I found myself getting hooked on and in game they extend out for a bit.
The chord progression is the same as the "Stage Complete" music from the previous games. You could easily splice in the little lead melody over the top and it would fit right in.
This is really the only song that I can give credit for having that true SoR vibe. As in, this was the first stage throughout the entire game, where I felt fully immersed. Atmosphere, environment design, music, it all blended together perfectly.
@@JoeSmoe1 @joe smoe SOR1's soundtrack is near perfect start to finish. 4 has some great tracks for sure and it's definitely a cut above 2 and 3, but it still lacks the level of charm the first game's music had.
In my opinion the best part in SO4 even better than Yuzo parts because stage, music and mix perfect and oh my god the lights and when you make combos synchronize very good
Introduction of the worst enemy in the game; the bottle/grenade throwers. Because that's JUST what every beat-em-up game needs, ranged enemies with infinite throwables that punish you for fighting up close...like you do in a beat-em-up.
@@ahmeddemha6112 I still say the bottle chuckers are worse. Because the bikers can be countered and will come to you, and the Donovan reskins will run out of weapons eventually and will also come to you. Meanwhile the bottle throwers actively run away from you, have infinite ammo, and three out of four of them punish you for getting close and either knocking them down, or grabbing them. Both of which should be viable options, but instead you get blasted by whatever bottle they were carrying. Not to mention their instant shove attack which should honestly if I had the reigns deal no damage, but instead can completely ruin your combos or attempts to renew your HP after using specials. Anyway I look at them they annoy me to no end.
Vahlok142 The bikers have annoying habit of charging you and grabbing you for a pile driver, whereas the red and gold Donavan’s love to throw weapons at you and knock you out of the air. At least with the Elizabeth’s you can largely avoid their attacks the ones you fight on stage 11 though are a pain in the ass.
@@ahmeddemha6112 All very true. I just personally think the bottle throwers are worse since I've always had a sore spot with any enemy in a game that revolves around infinite projectiles and running away from you. I can punch Donovans and biker girls reliably, even with their annoyances. The bottle throwers actively go against the formula of a beat-em-up game. You can't reliably fight them without getting punished, they use ranged weapons 99% exclusively (which your options of are massively limited), and they never run out of ammo so you can't negate their moveset. A good comparison is the knife sub-boss from SoR 2, Jack. He has infinite knives, but you can get him to drop them and he has a long animation to get another out. He also can throw them, but he only does so if you're far away and the animation is rather long and you can avoid it pretty easily. He also fights hand to hand even without a knife readied. One easy way to fix them; make their bottles NOT break upon them dropping them due to your actions. It just feels cheap as hell every time.
So are these Molotov throwing ladys a reference to Doug Funnies sister? Like wasn't she kind of pretentious artsy fartsy and these enemies first appear in an artsy fartsy level and stuff? I know conspiracy and all but...it kinda makes sense you know.
Wow this is funni I though t it was just me thinking that, judith throwing molotovs at u in a museum filled with art.probably trying to stop u from destroying what she loves but in an antifa like fashion lmao
I found it adorable that you meet basically only two kinds of people inside the museum: Security guards and hipster chicks.
And the muy thai club! You can't forget the muy thai club!
and those guys from sor2
i know I am kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
Your mama
Hipster chicks that throw electricity, bombs and acid at you.
Classic streets of rage. Wish turtles in time got this treatment
It did but nobody liked it
SuperSpindasher1991 because it didn’t. They completely axed the boss theme on the new version. *THE BOSS THEME*
I'd take the snes port over any version honestly

Well it makes since being that they recomposed the music likely because of rights issues.

This is one of the smoothest pieces of music I've heard in a video game in a long time.
This song is such a vibe

I think this is the best track of the game, luv it 😍👌
gunner greg this track, Call the Cops, and the It’s Extra theme are the best!

This track was probably found in a time capsule from 1990. The sound is so genesis.

The bit at 2:08 has that 90's sound perfectly woven into it! It's so good!
@Nightmare same !! 2:08 to 2:24 AWESOME , fantastic but sooo short !
90s Chiptune Dance is the best!
Probably the only stage in this game that starts out with the best part from beginning to end, amazing.
Definitely the best track in the game hands down. My wife also loves the track, so she bought it off of iTunes. :)
Without a doubt! "Rising Up" is also very good, perhaps the 2nd best to this one here.
Also a great cover now on Spotify by The Consouls ruclips.net/video/bi_QHRjfIu0/видео.html
Theme of your 💯 + combo being broken by simple push by “Margaret”
I always restart the stage when that happens
You can truly feel that deep inside when an 100 plus combo is broken. Hurts deep man.
Am I the only one who gets massive Jake Kaufman vibes from this song? Especially at 1:18 with that orchestra hit breakdown. Such a good track!
This kinda sounds like Alex's theme from Third Strike.
And I love it.
That little sprinkle of Magical Sound Shower makes this track

The perfect combination of classic Sonic and streets of rage vibes. Best song in the game. Easily
This track is such fire
Great work done it reminds me of original Streets of Rage
