season 1 000s are destined to either be absolute garbo or incredibly broken also very funny how nsault's counter is a negative coin skill for no reason
I like to think of the coins and such as, say, "manifestations of the emotional state", so basically if they're happy they hit heads if they're really depressed or self-questioning (hint hint) They prefer negative coins, I think that N-sault's faith is wavering massively and that manifests in his negative coin counter, where he questions the one who grips while insulting his opponent, sorry to yap about such an uninteresting thing!
@@Lockedupmymouthandthrewawa-x6b The problem with that idea is that there are plenty of IDs with plus coin skills but are depressed, take all the bloodfiends, especially Don, for example. @halften5818 Fun fact, the only ids that Sinclair has that don't roll 10 or lower are Base, zwei west, Cinq and devyat. Its been a pretty average number for the majority of the games lifespan for skill 1s alongside 11. Dawnclair in the EGO state rolls a 12 as long as the enemy has burn and you have 20 sanity which isn't that bad comparing to more modern day IDs
he's actually great in applying debuffs in a nails team all thanks to his skill 2 (i can attest to this, because giving him two slots is the only reason i was able to beat 6-34 when i did), i personally think his uptie 5 (assuming that ever comes) should buff him in that aspect by giving him conditional debuff applying in his other skills (or maybe even crazier, make him apply fanatic to himself and another ally upon meeting conditions in his skill 3).
@@xerxese5433 hold up, that makes a lot of sense, specially considering his skills require hitting and scale their effects based on the damage dealt, it would still be balanced because +1 coin power skill 3 still wouldn't do much healing, so he isn't inmortal
@@xerxese5433 I very much hope Uptie 5 sprinkles unbreakable coins around a lot of kits, especially in places that help maintain a unit's gimmick. My first thought was giving Who Shall Grip Sinclair's S1 an unbreakable coin, specifically for the one that can give him Fanatic if he lands tails. Also probably rework Sloshing's skill conditionals a bit to let her have a bunch of unbreakable coins to play into her gimmick to lose clashes on purpose.
@@gustavoghoul6630 no no no, Sunshower HC s1 indeed has 6 base power, making it the lowest rolling s1, however he has more coin than N.Sault, so he has more total dmg
@@Hoshiyomi-w- i mean its not just that, heathcliff's skill 1 actually has a point in being used. It's like a mini skill 3 that sets him up for later turns since his skill 2 doesn't actually apply any sinking to himself - only spending it to deal more damage. It can be considered a little better than his counter if we're talking about utility given that he gains +1 sinking count on use and +3 sinking on clash lose, which makes him take -6 guaranteed sp (assuming you dont have a prior stack ofc; and most attacks on average are 2+ coins), which is actually pretty reliable if you learn to intuitively count and manage his sanity - while his counter applies 5 sinking to himself on USE - meaning you need to get hit twice for it to apply a lower amount of sp damage than his skill 1 (assuming you dont have his passive ready) Nsault's skill 1's only utility is making an already absurdly tanky identity tankier by a miniscule amount. "Lowers user's Stagger Threshold by 60% of damage dealt" as it rolls a 7 is so wild 😭It'd be unironically good if he at least got a clash lose conditional for more aggro or inflicting bind (or some other status effect). His passive (and skill 1 conditional that gives it +2 coin power) activate when below 50% hp, but he's literally never going to reach that threshhold just because he's so tanky and his skill 3 is actually kind of good at healing. It really saddens me cause it's unironically SO easy to fix this ID
since u mention it everytime you see KQE's lanky ass, how exactly would you rework the fight? Its got a clear gimick going on, just one that usually isnt all that powerful, esp in MDs
Honestly just make him faster. His biggest problem is that he simply takes too long to do anything and you can easily defeat him before he ever has a chance to do 2 cycles. The easiest way to do it is just give him an extra skill slot because he only does captivity when he reaches 10 charge and with his current pattern he only gains 8 per turn forcing him to waste 2 turns charging every cycle. Giving him an extra skill slot would make him use captivity every other turn and make his fight feel a lot better. Also his captivity skill, specifically the second one he uses, should be an unbreakable coin so you still get put into captivity even when the heart spawns. Also I would think it would be nice if he was unkillable until you destroyed the heart.
I'll admit that I have done this before and bought the skill one out of existence. (Ended up with 5 skill 3s and 1 skill 2s ) I proceeded to out heal everything.

I'm laughing my ass off on the trio fight, Dulcinea and Meursault just poke each other to death.
I always enjoy seeing enemies hit meursault only for him to remain unmoved due to shield
