Unfortunately it doesn’t spawn in the same spot, and when you do kill him it never pops up. Been trying for 4 days now smh still haven’t gotten the research
I know this sounds dumb, but I haven’t done this mission in a while and I went to do it on my secondary account and the research spawned way across the map. I didn’t get it in time so I have to do it again anyways.
Done this twice now solo, cleared all the way to the warlord only have some random dude run in and get the last hit on him and loot the damn research papers rofl, god this is annoying.

Im incredibly pissed man . I spent the better part doing this mission solo. Cleared the entire fortress. Was up to the warlords room taking my time as im alone with only one self res. As im at the last room a team of three sweeps in and rushes the room. Killing the wl and worst of all not excepting me into the group. Pissed. An hour down the drain.

Yep. It's like that for so many missions. It's like they want us to just keep doing them over and over. So frustrating. I hope when I get to this one, I don't have to do it multiple times. I hate mercs. They so annoying.
Make sure you get last bullet or do all damage to warlord if you’re having the research dropping issues.
I obliterated him alone and my team on the stairs. He didn’t drop anything but self. I heard you gotta go in solo for it to drop
@@jawadbakhshi31I did it with 2 others in my group. I think it’s just bugged honestly. Just keep doing it until it drops 🤷♂️
@@jawadbakhshi31i just did it in solo, and 2 guys sneaked behind and i think they took it. but then the game crashed, so i think it’s karma. i wouldn’t recommand solo

I already killed the warlord but ended updl dying before I could get the research. But when i tried it again the second time and kill him, the research now doesnt appear. Did i break the game in which I can No longer beat it???
I did this mission 3 times. First 2 times the mission was bugged and the warlord didn’t drop the research papers. 3rd time I went to the stronghold nearest to the legacy fortress and got the keycard then went to legacy and the warlord dropped the papers finally.

@bugzx6r800 there's 2 fortresses. I believe only 1 can spawn in each match.. if legacy didn't then it is the fortress near D7.. if it's not legacy fortress. The good thing about that one is if you use zipline to get to the roof you don't need key card an you skip a bunch of Ai's downstairs.

@@bugzx6r800Glad to help, I did mine alone.. I was thinking only legacy fortress counts. But guess not. They just made it a bit easier for some people by putting 2 fortresses even though 9x out of 10 you always spawn in the complete opposite side of your challenge😂🤣. Still it did make it easier just like doing a T1 bounty contract counts as killing the megabomb.

Does daboki fortress count as well and will warlord spawn there too ?
I keep hearing conflicting information. So do you pick up the cyher tablet in the stronghold or not? Or ignore the tablet and go straight to the legacy stronghold?

@@jawadbakhshi31no he's talking about the Cypher Tablet from an earlier act, since the missions overlap for people you clear out a stronghold to get to Legacy but it completes the mission for the other person if they need that older act mission

What I Did Was Bought 2 Jugs & Once The Heli Was Down Pop 1 Jug To Kill & Get Close To The Door Then Pop Another To Just Run To The Warlord. lol
As soon as I open the door, I just get the reward bubble, no warlord even spawns
Same for me man! I literally just finished the mission. When I open the door the reward just spawns and no warlord. So annoying since I’m doing it solo and it’s so much work.

I got the legacy keycard. Everytime i bring up the map the legacy stronghold is not there, is it hidden? I know where to look and its not there. Does it need to be unlocked or something? I'm stuck.

I went in with a double packed scorcher and was done in less than 5 minutes
Got the documents but didn’t defeat the warlord apparently
I killed him yesterday and didn’t count for me about to try it again now

Dont pick up the documents from the safe thene the Boss will drop the item.

Bruh, can’t even get inside without the knife wielding guys keep respawning and ambushing me
it’s best to have deaths perception so you can see them through walls
same, they need to get rid of that infinitely spawning enemies crap
Use scorcher to shoot thru walls, combined with death perception you are RoboCop. Aether blade is the icing on the cake

Can’t get it to spawn the warlord. Even at start of the game it’s not there just en empty building no mercs wtf?!?
Twice i have done it and they dont drop it . Last time he dropped 2 legendary weapons and thats all. Warlord didnt even count either
For me it dropped at the 2nd stronghold before the fortress
Were in the stronghold did you find it? was it in the safe?
@@KingLeo718 a document drops out of the safe DO NOT pick it up then make your way to the main base he will drop it done it 3x today with mates that haven't done it
hmmm i thought the same thing i didnt pick the first safe doc but still the boss at fortress didnt drop anything, i guess im going to try it again and see

So you just do two regular strongholds instead of legacy?
He wasn't even there for me. I killed a few guards downstairs with an explosion and the reward rift appeared upstairs, no sign of him or the research papers
Same, this keeps happening to me. As soon as I unlock the door. The reward rift spawns and he's not upstairs
Then sounds like someone beat you to it. I noticed later in game sometimes the reward will just spawn as soon as you pop the door open, No documents. Figured I was too late those times too 😅
@@I3lazedOne Would the door still be locked if I went after another person? It's all good now, got him the next game but I'd assume it would all be open and the mines would be gone if I wasn't first

The trick is do everything in order and make sure you get the finishing bullet on the warlord..I just did it
Yeah happened for me on 4th try. I did ALL the damage to warlord & it dropped for me then.
Going thru it rn won’t spawn for me even though I solo did it 😭😭😭
I picked it up 3 times in 3 strongholds... and never got credit for it.

He's in the second to last room on the top floor in the center building where you use the legacy key card to get in he's hiding behind a filling cabinet.

I did it 7 times still didn’t get it did it the same way everytime
it worked for me now… just two people.. one holding the stairs and me was using a regular assault rifle (tier 2 punch), killing him as last and immediately running towards his corpse.. noone else shot on him

Everyone asking about the research papers I got them ..do the mission in order step by step and make sure YOU finish the warlord with the last bullet
thanks man, i did like this man said, just did the tasks step by step, didnt take special item from a safe and killed the warlord on my own and finally got the research papers
