I appreciate your willingness to show others how to put a Chatbot onto their website. I was really hoping I could get one of my Custom GPT's working on my website by following this video... but you seem to be leaving a lot out. Like the Replit part (5:10); what exactly am I supposed to copy and paste?? Or replacing the knowledge file (5:50) "and paste all of your knowledge onto this tab". What "knowledge" are you talking about? I mean, I have a mean cajun crawfish recipe but I can't see how this knowledge gets me any closer to a chatbot!! :). And what do you mean by "instruction you've already made" (5:52)? Is this referring to my Prompt or knowledge files contained in my Custom GPT? I'd love somebody to make a video that walks you through it. Again, I appreciate the effort but was completely unable to use it as a functional guide.
Thanks for the comment, first question - you will want to insert your own GPT instructions in the code where I point out. Second question - "knowledge" is what OpenAI calls any supporting documents that your GPT uses to generate output. You will need to paste this in the knowledge file as text (as opposed to uploading a document). Third question - everyone will have different "instructions" for their own unique GPTs, simply paste these in the part where I specify in the video. I appreciate it's all pretty complex, and it's only a matter of time before a SaaS company comes and makes this complexity into a monetizable product. We are still early. I'm happy to jump on a free call to help you out, just pick a time in my calendly.
Great Video, i have a Problem with the voiceflow testing. It seems to work, but it only copies my question and doenst give answers. What dis i make wrong?
For some reason the code isn't able to retrieve or pull the document uploaded. If I try it in platform open AI and go to the correct/assign assistant, gpt will be able to pull the info correctly from the knowledge base/document uploaded but when I do in voiceflow or in the embedded chat in my website, it will say, "Hi there! It appears that there are no documents uploaded for me to reference in order to answer your question". I have another code from Bo Sar, and it works and able to pull the document uploaded however it is having its own coding issue in parsing certain characters, resulting to "Failing to get response". So i'm looking toward this code
Hello, I have a question. I would like to add a training plan generator to my website. The user clicks on various options and a prompt for chat gpt should be generated in the background. This prompt is executed and saved as a pdf. Do you have an idea or a video of how I can do this? many thanks in advance. p.s very helpful video
I haven't seen in the video how do I link the custom GPT to the chatbot. It looks like you are actually using an OpenAI assistant, and give it the instructions and knowledge documents. As far as I know, assistants don't have actions like GPTs do. Please clarify.
Hi Yuval, yes assistants do have actions but they are called "functions" and can be configured in the settings just below the "tools" section. Give me a shout if you need any help with this part.
Hey, thanks for the work you've done. Do you know if the code is suitable for GPT-4o? I did a test run and I always get an API error. This probably has something to do with API v1 and v2.
I do think showing how to create a custom GPT would be helpful. I've done a couple, but I know they could be BETTER so would appreciate additional insight/guidance! (Plus I'm sure newbies would really appreciate it.)
This was great! Thanks. I have openAI’s assistants using their API but I don’t have a custom gpt. Do I need to have a custom gpt to follow this workflow?

Why would I be getting an API call error in Voiceflow? I have credits available.

Thanks for the comment, so you want the PDF to be generated and then given back to the user?

Yes it does work with 4o. Did you use the exact code from the video?

Thanks so much for the idea, I went ahead and did just that! Keen to hear your thoughts

Thanks! This will also work with an assistant. Let me know how you get on! :)
@@diversifai Thanks! Will do.
wow, he's so good looking i just realized i watched the whole video and have no idea what he said ;-)
