    Thanks for creating this. I was facing milk supply issues and while researching stumbled upon this. It has helped me immensely. "My milk flows abundantly" paints such a clear and positive picture, I am a 100% sure it was what got my milk flowing abundantly. Thanks a lot. Love from India.

      Abbey Belt you got this girl. I almost gave up around week 4, I would cry breastfeeding but I am now one year strong and happy I kept with this! I found out so many things that made breastfeeding life easier (I even have a video Tuesday coming out about it!!) and it made things go so much smoother. I hope your experience gets better. Do not put too much pressure on yourself, you are a great mommy!

    I so needed this at this time . I listened to the labor inducing affirmations after being scared for reaching 41 wks and my water broke hours later. I just listened to this and told my son how much I loved him (as I always do) but when she tells us to do so , he smiled after I kissed him on the head , I giggled and he giggled... meanwhile, tears already flowing. 🥰

    Thank you so much! There are so many things for birth/labor, but not a lot of support for the hardest part (for me): learning and establishing breastfeeding while hormonally crazy/sleep deprived/healing from physical trauma of birth. I'm so happy to have this, thank you for making it! Going to pop in Tminus 3 weeks so I'm happy I found your channel

    Can you do an affirmations for pumping? A lot of women including myself feel disheartened when we can’t actually breast feed. I’m struggling with supply and have to pump. My baby ended up in the hospital because she lost too much weight due to me not producing enough, so now i pump and supplement with formula.

      I'm in the same situation, just that baby lost weight but with the help of our midwife and introducing formula we managed to avoid the hospital part.

    I used this because I've been experiencing nursing aversion after 19 months of nursing my sweet girl. I'm starting to wean and both her and I are struggling with it and she can sense all of these things. Thank you for the wonderful meditation to help me stay present and positive during our nursing session. She only nurses a few times now (4 times a day?) It's good for me to remember to appreciate these last few times as our breastfed journey comes to a close.

    How to brestfeed baby after delivery if we don't have enough milk if its our 1st time

    • @YeseniaGalvan
      @YeseniaGalvan 4 года назад +2

      Faiz Zaheer Hi Faiz! have you had your baby yet? id encourage feeding your baby on demand as much as you can right after delivery, this will send a signal to your body that your baby has arrived and ypur body will respond by producing more milk. At first, your body will produce tiny amounts of milk called colostrum and this is enough milk for our babies tiny stomachs to get full.. then later on by the 2-3rd day after birth you will feel your breasts get fuller and harder than before (this is called milk letdown because now your body is producing more milk). your baby may find it challenging to latch on to a hard full breast and if this happens you can manually express some milk into a sterile container and with a little syringe place it in your baby’s mouth to feed them so they don’t get upset that they can not latch on. once your breast is softer because you have manually expressed and let out some milk, your baby might find it easier to latch on to your softer breast. Rest assured your body will absolutely be able to make enough milk for your baby!! Just experiment with getting a good and deep latch so that the nipple soreness can be diminished. The more you attach your baby to your breast the more milk that your body will produce! :) I hope this helps a little!

      Faiz Zaheer hey mama, it is a common concern for new moms to think they aren’t producing enough milk. As long as your baby is producing several wet diapers and are not losing weight, you are producing enough! Babies just VERY frequently in the beginning.
      I have a video that comes out on Tuesday about how to make breastfeeding easier and it talks about how to know if your aren’t producing enough milk and a couple tips on how to boost the supply! You got this mama!

      As a lactation consultant, I hear this a lot and it is a valid concern. The first 6-weeks is all about skin-skin, nursing, sleeping. Everything else can wait. Feed baby on demand, track baby's wet and poopy diapers, eat well and enough ( I have a video on this). You might find my breastfeeding tips on my channel helpful. All the best to you.
