Varying depth tool. I want creatures that like shallow water and creatures that prefer deeper water and trenches. Lagoon wall viewing galleries would be cool
I would absolutely love for a coral brush to be added to the lagoon. Currently placing each individual coral piece is really tedious and takes up a lot of the decorations limit. Also the option to lock the camera into the lagoon when editing the interior, as I find it really annoying constantly having to re enter the lagoon when I zoom out a tiny bit.
I just want lagoon animals to interact with land or aerial animals. Including mosasaurs attacking helicopters and what not that fly over. In fact, I’d like land animals being able to attack or interact with helicopters
You JUST want, that is a very minor system which isn’t relevant to normal gameplay and anyways lots of things come before that like optimisation, decoration etc, so no you don’t JUST want it
I know many people are worried that JWE3, if it releases next year, hasnt had that much dev time...but...the features we need are already there in PC2. Theyve clearly nailed 2 big issues around pathing and water controls. Give us more control around attractions and social animations, and we're good to go for a solid JWE3 base game
I do have some concerns but yeah, technically frontier has already done all the homework. JWE2 is a good base and all the dinosaur models are done, and the Planet series has the tools. It might depend on how much Universal will allow them to bring Planet stuff into their "JWE3" title
My ideal JWE3 really revolves around the lagoon. - Water colour editing - Water roughness editing - Texture brushes - Foliage & Rock Brushes - Fences that can break one lagoon into two, eyc (Like seen in JW the lagoon fence stops the Mosasaur entering the designated guest beach area) - I would also like the gate we see in JWFK so I can allow my mosasaur to enter a river like in the movie. - 1: Guest beaches, where guest can swim with unqiue animations - 2: Placeable bouys - 1&2: There will be a drawing system so you can draw out a designated swimming area for guest, you can optionally choose if there are bouys on the borders of this area as well as changing the colours in them. - Mosasaurus interactions with other animals other than aquatics. (Such as the Main Street Attack scene with the Pteradon and Main Street Showdown with the indominus) BONUS: - Larger resort buildings with customizable neon lights (Seen after the indominus's death) - As well as multiple 3-8 variations if the resort, as well as styles. - I'd like to see increased sizes for the lagoon viewing galleries, as in the movie they are HUGE, id also like to see the little bridge for the feeding show announcer. - Foliage, next to the viewing galleries in the movie you can see rocks on the edges of the lagoon, replacing the wall, they have vines and plants on them. - Fencing that doesn't obstruct the view of guests for the lagoon, such as a lowered wall as well as customisable wiring spacing so we can thicken wires or space them out so guest can see the lagoon better. - I'd also like small extensions such as the end of main street at the lagoon, where theres an extension for the fountain, and maybe even a restaurant hanging over the lagoon, I know it seems silly but having guests eat over the water should be nice, really gives that tropical experience. - foliage brushes for all environments and biomes as well as texture brushes. - Lagoon side kiosk, pools, sports courts, etc as seen in the JW reveal scene after Zack & Grey enter their hotel room. To add onto this. A full stadium & separate sizes for individual viewing stages/galleries. Ability to turn on ZERO build collision, so we can make the best parks. Updated aviaries such as the JW1 aviary, it's one aviary, like in the movie, as well as all sorts of rocks and cliffs which are harder if not impossible to do in Vanilla JW2. Waterpark, Event Tents, Stages, Rocks, Misc Objects. Updated helicopters, such as a more modern JW looking helicopter with a better design as the one in game is not that good. helicopter landing areas with multiple variations so we can have civilian unarmed helicopters. Waterfalls with varying sizes, foam, mist, colour, etc. Water tool depth, colour, murkiness options. Square/Shape map sizes Limit- 50 kilometres (Game breaking? Probably) Such as creating a square to rectangle sized map by adding to the size. Smallest map would be around 1 kilometre by 1 kilometre, largest could be 50 kilometres by 50 kilometres. I'd also like to see the background mountains of Nublar maps or just background terrain able to be changed in general so mountains we try so hard to make it game by expanding the base, then adding, then expanding the tip, etc can replicate or not look so small compared to background mountains. - Edit for add on & grammar.
For everything you said: I hope they add everything you said to freshwater asswell. I'd absolutely LOVE doing a Spinosaurus or Concavenator natural swamp habitat in which they could SWIM in and DRINK from. What you said I think it's absolutely plausible if they're given the time to do so, but I think it'd be weird to port it to consoles, even though they did this seems like a bigger challenge. Plus, they added prehistoric foliage to the terrain brushes, so I'd like to see them investigating about prehistoric underwater foliage besides kelp. I'm talking about permian-ordovician corals, early underwater plants besides kelp, etc. Oh, almost forgot: also an Ammonite live prey dispenser. We have tuna and ded sharc, but imagine a Shonisaurus hunting ammonites down
just to reply to what you said about "weird to port to consoles": both Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster are on console, so Frontier has already figured out how to make that work.
Awesome video!!! Also I got some ideas for the Lagoons to upgrade them :) List: - Different Bimes for different Lagoon - A Tunnel (like a shark tunnel - Custom shapes for Lagoons - More Marine Creatures like Halisaueus and Helicoprion Sizes between Small and Medium + between Medium and Large, that way we can make more food chain scenarios - Cosmetics from other parts of media like a Meg Cosmetic for the Megalodon and a Skull and Bones Cosmetic for the Tylosaurus - Snorkeling for guests to swim up to the animals up close, some of the Marine Reptiles would be more docile like the smaller Ichthyosaurids like Ichthyosaurus, smaller Mosasaurids like Halisaurus, and Larger Plesiosaurids like Elasmosaurus and Liopleurodon, while for other Marines like the Sharks like Megalodon, Pliosaurs like Kronosaurus, Fish like Dunkleosteus, Small Plesiosaurids like Plesiosaurus, the Large Mosasaurids like Tylosaurus, ETC would be able to eat guests - New Feeder types like a Crab and Lobster Feeder or a Whale Feeder - Aquatic Hybrids like the Elasmopleurpdon (Elasmosaurus Liopleurodon Hybrid)
personally, my guess for lagoon improvements is some variations to lagoon (and aviary) segments so that they're not all just the same circle--a rectangular one with optional gate, for example, which could connect or block separate tanks--and probably in-lagoon elevation changes, and redoing the kelp and other lagoon plants into something you can paint like the terrestrial foliage. a bigger hope is that natural-style lagoons will be placeable, too.
I want this video format but with the aviaries. There's so much you could do to improve them: Let land/aquatic animals live in them Different sized/shaped aviaries Add more edge/glass exteriors Copy the lagoon building system so we can make uniquely shaped aviaries Balconies like in JP3 Walking animations for pterosaurs (I know that's not directly tied to the aviaries, but it's super important) Add more feeders (also very important, add fruit, nuts, etc.)
I think they should add an underwater tunnel, something like the log but more longer, It would be so cool imo! Anyway, nice video! I really hope they will bring the planet coaster ideas to jwe3
100% if there are lagoons and aviary's in JWE3 ( which there 100% will be ) they should be able to be built with the "drawing tool" from planet coaster 2, however we don't away as get what we want with the Jurassic evolutions, so we should have it so that you can draw lines and wide curves that make up lagoons so that it's easier for all players to understand the new lagoon system and not spend an hour making the perfect lagoon along the paths etc. but, i could always be wrong and that might not be best, at the end of the day it's all down to frontier...
It's not for the lagoons but the idea I have is that we could have a biodome for dinosaurs that inside of the biodome it would let you make it whatever biome you want no matter what biome your park is in for example in a park on isla nublar you could have a biodome and you could make it snowy and like a taigi biome. Also an option to change in the settings is a dev mode where you could turn off hitboxes or change relatively large things that stop us from doing epic things in sandbox.
Hey evo it's my birthday and the first thing I woke up to do was watch your videos watching your videos are like a birthday present to me. Nice video. And I have some ideas for jwe3 here are 3: Lagoon and avairy hybrids, land and lagoons and avairy enclosures connected, and finally custom hybrids.

Nice to see you tackle the lagoon question ^^ and yeah a lot of the things you mentioned like water clarity and the colour of internal and external walls i mentioned in my own video on the subject like last year. When i saw the pool tool in PC2 i thought instantly about the lagoons. The ONLY issue i see with it being implemented is the over simplified way JWE2 handles the objects thavt have to snap onto the lagoon. Like how would those dead straight snapplable objects respond to having to snap on to say, a super curved tank created with the tool. I would assume that would have to automatically create a straight section like they do now. As for the connecting it directly to land, while it would make genuine semi aquatic enclosures possiable i cant see it happening due to the requirement for then every land animal to have animations of interactivity with that water / animals in that water. Given it took frontier 2 years to get the lagoon animals to the same animation standards of the land animals, a part of me doubts they would be willing to add swimming animations to all animals. But i agree with you that the PC2 path / pool tool are really great ideas and i would love to see something like it come to the next game.
"As for the connecting it directly to land, [...] i cant see it happening due to the requirement for then every land animal to have animations of interactivity with that water / animals in that water." I don't think this is true. This is a best case scenario, not a requirement. Only semi-aquatics would *need* an animation for both walking and swimming (and getting in and out of the water). All other animals can simply treat the edge of the lagoon as a barrier. Same for interactions between lagoon and land creatures. It's not a requirement, it's an ideal. Just because a T. Rex can stand next to a lagoon, doesn't mean the Mosasaurus *needs* to be able to jump out and grab it.
Bro imagine being in a viewing area, and seeing muddy murky water around you with some various plant life, and then you see the shadow of a deinosuchus swimming towards you.
-Combined habitat capabilities so we can have Lagoon, Aviary, and terrestrial creatures in one enclosure (Doing a Western Interior Seaway enclosure with Tylosaurus, Styxosaurus, Pteranodon, and Geosternbergia is at the top of my wish list) -Underwater (and out of water) viewing tunnels -Kelp/aquatic vegetation and coral being paintbrushes instead of individual decorations -Deeper freshwater paintbrush option for semi-aquatic species like Spinosaurus and crocodylomorphs -More Lagoon decorations and features for guests
Honestly the perfect way to implement this is the pool tools. But instead of traditional lagoons only? Why not for water placement as a whole, specifically for deeper water. Some animals can walk along the bottom as long as they can stay above water, others can swim (spinosaurs) while others cannot traverse the deep water… but neither can ranger vehicles so the need to have a gate and/or a bridge is needed. All while allowing animals like the Archelon, Nothosaurus, and other semi aquatics to finally leave the lagoon and go to land… and maybe hunt some other animals. And even allow for lagoon animals to interact with land animals or even aviary creatures. Like an animal gets too close to the water, a predator can try to get it.
This is the perfect in-between for the not too tedious to make, while not being too simple. This could also be slightly redesigned for our much wanted semi-aquatics.
Honestly, Those features could be possible, But would deffenitely be hard to implement, An suggestion idea would be that it could also have an lineup tool which allows you to make lined up with grid pools, (With draw tool), It would be easier to make lagoons and you wouldnt get fustrated as much when your trying to make something perfect, Also good video, Ill keep revisiting for more. :3
if everything everyone wanted then yeah, sure. Because some people have crazy wants/expectations for this game to do everything outside of the scope of a park builder. But looking at games like Prehistoric Kingdom, Planet Zoo, and Planet Coaster 2, most JWE fans really aren't asking for "too much"
Something I would really like are underwater gates that connect different lagoons through tunnels. Like how they look in JWFK or JPTG. It's not that necessary and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't added, which I doubt it will anyway. But it would be something really cool to see.
20 years later and Zoo Tycoon 2 lagoon feature/functionality is still the benchmark. Honestly if Frontier brought that back for JWE3, I wouldn't even complain, I'll be very happy.
I also think a few things they could do is natural lagoons or like shallower ones that can be connected to land exhibits and also maybe realising sharks into the water for the larger animals to hunt more realistically also maybe new aquatic animals like ones that can be prey and also exhibits like giant isopods and stuff like that or crabs,jellyfish,squid/octopus etc
In relation to water, the best they need to do is a “deep water feature”, a type of water that works where land dinosaurs can swim. That would be everything
I’m really hoping that the Lagoon’s edge doesn’t work on a slider/switch like how the current amenities work but rather like our current fence tool where we can mix-and-match. That would open up a ton of creative options for the lagoons and should be simple when it comes to the UI, with a mini-menu nearly identical to the fence’s mini-menu simply with different icons.
I think frontier should add a better water tool so varying depth can be added alongside some lagoon creatures being able to live within deeper waters and make it so dinos can swim
How much do the jurassic world evolution 2 lenses cost? What I want most from lagoons is what planet coaster 2 has done with drawing it because it would make implementing lagoons and surrounding attractions much easier. I also really want different realistic colours, water depth and of course more attractions. It really was a weak point of jwe2 but we were glad we got one from JWE water tool (if you can even call it a proper water tool). Same has to be done to it as well.❤ Also tomorrow is the anniversary (not including early access which released 5 November). Last unmodded stream tomorrow but all things come to an end.❤🎉😢🥳
It would be really nice to see a Spinosaurus swimming after a parasaurolophus in water that only certain dinosaurs can explore fully like them or long necks for obvious reasons.
I do hope we get natural lagoons and actual semi aquatics. I just want to craft stories of abandoned parks that the dinosaurs took over, and the current lagoons are just meh at that since the mosasaurus would need to eat, but it can't interact with land creatures in jwe2
I would hope we could have a lagoon to land and a lagoon to natural water connection. Speaking of natural water....I hope we get some way to make waterfalls. We had waterfalls in Zoo Tycoon 2, just by having a natural water source that's higher in altitude connect and "flow" into a lower source.
Yes I believe that we won't get the best case scenario, but I do hope that frontier see this and take the key wants and nned and add them into the new game 🙏🙏
they should improve dinosaur fights and hunts into the games. Like maybe having 3 hunting animations intead of 1 that is random. Or when something is fighting it recognizes the decorations (mainly buildings trees and rocks) and have a dinosaur shove or throw another dinosaur into these. Of course i know nothing about coding these are just things that would be cool to see in the game
In my personal opinion i would want regular lagoons kept normal and the water tool upgraded. water depth changed to up to 50 meters and underwater terrain tools.
If they added a better lagoon tool, I could simply just do the "natural lagoon edge" glitch (if its still in jwe3) and make it look like it's in the wild. That would be so cool!
Hey Evo! Unrelated but, how would you feel if frontier added stuff like the terror bird or megatherium? or wooly mammoth? (Don't know if you made a video talking about these species, if you have, please let me know. I'd love to watch it!)
I hope that for the depth tool in jwe3 can make our lagoons very deep to the point where when go down further it’s dark like somewhere of 6,600 feet deep of water just to have that midnight zone of the ocean and for capturing of our kronosaurus rising from the dark depths oooh now I want that more than ever now
Something i really really want are the aviaries that are shaped like one single aviarie but not as small like i mean huge like the ones from Jurassic world
I love the idea of this I also want the next Jurassic world evolution game to be able to put velociraptor and other raptors in velociraptor paddock also to put them in Jurassic world velociraptor paddock
Since you like dinosaurs maybe you will like, path of titans or the isle. They are both survival games where you play as dinosaurs I think you might like them.( I would to see you play those games. It would make a great video.)
The biggest improvement I'd like is to be able to see in them. What's the point of creating these creative water enclosures if the water is so murky that you can't see more than 15 feet out from the viewing galleries.
Something that I would like lagoons to have in JWE3 is customizing the shape of it. Instead of them already in a circle and has to be a connecting circle.
I really want semi aquatics like the spino to be able to enter the lagoons another thing I would love is a live prey feeder in the water like a shark or whale
What is your most wanted improvement to the lagoons???
Boats!
Lagoon tool
Varying depth tool. I want creatures that like shallow water and creatures that prefer deeper water and trenches. Lagoon wall viewing galleries would be cool
Rock wall so on the outside, natural lagoons, kelp brushes, maybe swimming with the itchys and more viewing ways
Caves in lagoons or a lagoon that has a surface covered up like a cave
The current dream of having a large creature swimming around a broken shipwreck in shallow shores… The hopes are extremely high after seeing this
Hi i love your builds and yes it would be cool

-Combined habitat capabilities so we can have Lagoon, Aviary, and terrestrial creatures in one enclosure (Doing a Western Interior Seaway enclosure with Tylosaurus, Styxosaurus, Pteranodon, and Geosternbergia is at the top of my wish list)
-Underwater (and out of water) viewing tunnels

What they need is some sort of tour ride for lagoons. Sort of like the boat ride from the books and Jurassic World. Keep up the fire videos btw 👍
Need deep massive lagoons , underwater ride in the depths of the lagoon, submarine ride
Those are some nice ideas to improve lagoons in JWE3. Nice video as always Evo :)
It’s spelled “lagoon” not “laggon”
Honestly, Those features could be possible, But would deffenitely be hard to implement, An suggestion idea would be that it could also have an lineup tool which allows you to make lined up with grid pools, (With draw tool), It would be easier to make lagoons and you wouldnt get fustrated as much when your trying to make something perfect, Also good video, Ill keep revisiting for more. :3
If everything we want got added in the next game, I think it would probably be more gigabytes than cod bo6
if everything everyone wanted then yeah, sure. Because some people have crazy wants/expectations for this game to do everything outside of the scope of a park builder. But looking at games like Prehistoric Kingdom, Planet Zoo, and Planet Coaster 2, most JWE fans really aren't asking for "too much"
Something that I kinda wanna see are more ways of marine creatures to interact, would love to see ichthyosaurus jumping out of the water or similar
yes that would make it fell like a living animal rather than the smallest in the food chain
Something I would really like are underwater gates that connect different lagoons through tunnels. Like how they look in JWFK or JPTG. It's not that necessary and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't added, which I doubt it will anyway. But it would be something really cool to see.
Evo i need an idea for a park bc i always start a park place down an arrival point then restart😢😢😢
Having a deep water feature would be amazing. It allows natural lagoons as well as swimming animals
God I hope they hear this. Especially with paths too, I do not have the patience u have to do path art when Ive tried to lol
In relation to water, the best they need to do is a “deep water feature”, a type of water that works where land dinosaurs can swim. That would be everything
The number one thing I want in general is for there to be zero terrain or building constraints apart from the map barrier
These videos are making me hype for the next game!
I think frontier should add a better water tool so varying depth can be added alongside some lagoon creatures being able to live within deeper waters and make it so dinos can swim
This is the earliest I’ve ever been to a video
I really want to place a path next to a lagoon or river so some of the bigger animals can pop up and snatch unsuspecting passers-by.
Last unmodded stream tomorrow but all things come to an end.❤🎉😢🥳
idk I got the glasses for free with a box of cereal
@@EvolutionSquare Maybe i'll get it with a bottle of juice.
It would be really nice to see a Spinosaurus swimming after a parasaurolophus in water that only certain dinosaurs can explore fully like them or long necks for obvious reasons.
Hi evo love your videos keep it up
Hi Evo long time no see😂🦖🦕
'I fight to remain the optimist that my therapist has made me.'
I love this one. 😂
Hello Evo
My most wanted improvement to the lagoons are improvements to the lagoons
I do hope we get natural lagoons and actual semi aquatics. I just want to craft stories of abandoned parks that the dinosaurs took over, and the current lagoons are just meh at that since the mosasaurus would need to eat, but it can't interact with land creatures in jwe2
I would hope we could have a lagoon to land and a lagoon to natural water connection. Speaking of natural water....I hope we get some way to make waterfalls. We had waterfalls in Zoo Tycoon 2, just by having a natural water source that's higher in altitude connect and "flow" into a lower source.
This is getting interesting and exciting
Better Tunnels. Plus Jurassic World had a beach attached to the pool separated by clear "fencing"
Yes I believe that we won't get the best case scenario, but I do hope that frontier see this and take the key wants and nned and add them into the new game 🙏🙏
The lagoons in JWE 2 don't have enough depth...
I'm waiting for the aviary video it's coming I KNOW it
they should improve dinosaur fights and hunts into the games.
Tunnels and glass walls would be so sick 😖 river raft rides as well
Noooo the Dutch Planet Coaster 2 menus are gone!!
As long as i can merge the lagoon with the River even it its Just optical i will be a Happy JWE3 Player.
I think the water should work more like city skylines so like you can make actual rivers and water falls
Great video
I hope they release the trailer soon as possible as I want to know what building tools they use or if they keep it the same way
They should have customizable shark tunnels that you can enter and walk around in first person mode.
Bro, this is literally my thoughts for MONTHSSS.
Deeper water tool and make it so dinosaurs can swim, Advanced behavior and herding, Carnivores only hunt when necessary
The biggest improvement I'd like is to be able to see in them. What's the point of creating these creative water enclosures if the water is so murky that you can't see more than 15 feet out from the viewing galleries.
Hey evo right you know about the mars and moon bases? Next you should do mercury with rocks
I WOULD WANT THEM TO LET US DRAIN THE LAGOON FOR BETTER BUILDING AND OTHER STUFF
i have a question, will epic games make jwe2 free to play for some days like they did with jwe?
no idea
@@EvolutionSquare that would be really cool.
Something that I would like lagoons to have in JWE3 is customizing the shape of it. Instead of them already in a circle and has to be a connecting circle.
I think the proposed tool covers that haha
Evo I got prehistoric kingdom😊😊 It was a lot to get used to, A ALOT, but I figured it out, and I’m building an amazing park, I wish I could show you 😢
That's awesome!
@@EvolutionSquarethank you
If you join the discord server and share it there she may see it.
@@Braint-lr6uf I’m not allowed to get discord
@@DinoNerd117you could record a tour and upload it on your channel
that looks like something that would be added on prehistoric kingdom first
This would be great and not like they cant do it. Pz is by frontier so they have the tools to do so
I really want semi aquatics like the spino to be able to enter the lagoons another thing I would love is a live prey feeder in the water like a shark or whale
I feel like we need lagoons with bungalows on top of the water for an attraction.
What is your opinion on the amenities, hotels and attractions Jurassic world evolution 2 provided compared to the first game? Thank you!
I *need* more lagoon attractions, not creatures or anything but ways to see them damnit T^T
I say again
FRONTIER GIMME LAGOON TOURS PLEASE-
I really hope something like this in JWE3 but also Planet Zoo 2 (we need marine animals 😭 🙏)
We definitely need more customization for the lagoons in jwe3....
Having aviary and lagoon walls be able to be built exactly how fences are in jwe2 isnt a want for jwe3 is an expectation
I would love if jwe3 takes the system from planet coaster, and prehistoric kingdom to make the ultimate game
Who else besides me want Hațeg Island species aside from Hatzegopteryx? I want Magyarosaurus since we need dwarf sauropods in this game. ;)
