Those are some nice LEDs! Great turn out, I might consider this if my HID ever fails on my EVO 9. Keep us updated on the night time results! Great vid! can't wait for the more evo content!
Thank you for posting this. I was looking to replace my headlights and there were a million options for bulbs. The JDM Astar's look solid in your video so I took a chance and bought a set. What a transformation! Great light quality and price not terrible. Car is even more awesome now. Thanks!
I’m saving for an evo8/9. I stumbled across your channel. Now I’m subscribed.
Love these type of videos bro❤️
More evo 9 builds please!!!
I’ll start doing more evo videos!
More Evo vids yes. Nice work man. Keep it up.
Gotcha thanks!

Thanks!
Really cool video and that is one nice Evo buddy I love it yes I want to see more videos on the Evo
Thank you man. I’ll start posting more Evo videos as well 👍🏼
Love the new headlights.
🤙🏼
Small details make a big difference 🔥🔥
Agreed 100%
Perfect spec Evo 👌🏾
Thanks!
very nice, well detailed and easy mod. i might have to take a look at the led bulb myself. But where did you purchase the mechanical deck lip for the evo? i've been wanting to get a hand on one of those.
Sickest evo
Thank you man 🙌🏼
Looks good.
Thanks!
I wonder if they have bulbs for my integra!! Looks great tho
My question for you is since the headlights are non hid and you put led and had the hid already, which backing plate did you have to hold the light the rubber grommet one or the one for the Hid?
Its been awhile, if you ever get a chance to do night shot of how they look would be nice...I will be ordering these light soon and I just like the fact it uses less wattage especially with the small 11.5lb battery I have. Weather these produce same if not better than the standard hid kit i have im sure it is a plus in a few ways. Instant on, less clutter (compact), less wattage, ip65 water proof.
Yes more evo videos.
Gotcha 👍🏼
Miguel Dsm what are the plans for it ? Roughly
Aesthetics and performance
Did the light bulb fit in the socket no problem? I bought a set and they are loose. In the socket
Hey bro. Are these oem hid lights?
What model of leds did u install sir?
More videos please 😅👍
More coming!
Boom I'm here. Late but I'm here
Hahah thanks for watching!
How is the light output? The oem is pretty bad.
Looks awesome will this work on the eclipse ? Reason I ask is that the headlights has a plastic cover that you remove
I know what you mean. You might need to keep the covers off for these as they are bigger in the rear portion
@@MiguelDsm damm it maybe they will make a slimmer one where they will fit one day I had hid before but would get water inside when it would rain so I took them out and put back old ones
looks like they kick out more light but will only really tell when you get it out in the dark to see the difference it they only light up short range to mid range or if they light up distance objects better. I converted my DSM to Hids just to get them to produce better light then what the old ones gave me maybe in a few more years when they prefect the LEDs I will convert the DSM to them as well.
Yup they had much better output at night. I definitely recommend Led as well as it is a more compact setup
@@MiguelDsm yeah they are easier for sure to hook up compared to hids with those you need to think about where to mount ballast at. made me chuckle at where the old owner decided to place his not the best area to place them at.
What is the part number of the lights.
Nice videos and nice evo9 miguel! May i know the color code of your car? :))
Oem graphite gray
you should clean the corrosion out of that head light connector
Too late now 🥵😂
I use to like HID’s but wasn’t getting that much light as I wanted, so I decided to get LED’s and the light output is great , 10 X better then HID’s. Never going HID ever again!!!
What are the specs on your wheels, I've been wanting to get the NTO3 Enkies but was told they will only fit if you have a spacer. So do you run spacers and what wheel size are those?
On the 9.5 you need a 15mm spacer. On the 10.5 you need a 5mm spacer
@@MiguelDsm wondering if u running 18x10.5 with 30 offset? And is it a 5 mm spacer to clear fender rub etc? Not looking to lower it more than 1.5inch
Yup. You need the spacer to clear the Brembos up front
Where's the footage of the "2019 las carnitas Meet" at?
Next video 👍🏼
Never run HIDS and never will. My buddy always has issues with his. I only get leds for both of my cars. I've never had any issues out of them and there super bright.
Good to hear. Love mine so far
yee
🙌🏼
Why you not running fogs?
Also do 06 evos 9’s headlights turn on automatically at night?
Shady Evo Gsr doesn’t come with fogs. You need the Mr headlights.
Shady and no they turn on manually
Thanks for the reply! Looking at getting MR headlights anytime soon? @@MiguelDsm
I plan on getting the jdm headlights with fog lights in the near future for sure
Are those RS headlights with flat black housings and amber swapped turn signals on them to look like the JDM headlights or something ? They look like the Evo 8 JDM but you're not running factory HID's, no fog lamps and a 9006 plug and play HID kit and now a plug and play LED kit, I don't get that ..? Plus you had 8000K HID bulbs in there which was already tacky to say the least and of course it's gonna look a lot bluer appose to the LED bulb which is 6K
My Evo comes with factory HID's and I only upgraded the bulbs back in 08 to a 5500K and they look pretty similar to your LED's and they're still going strong, those Ebay kits don't last long at all, factory is where it's at ..!
They’re oem evo 9 gsr headlights converted to jdm with black housing and amber corners
@@MiguelDsm ooh ok that makes more sense, ps, from 03-05 all GSR and MR Evo's came with factory HID's and 06 they came only in the GSR SSL, SE and MR, so those LED will not fit unless you have an 04-06 RS or an 06 GSR, other than that they look pretty good ..
Dr. Evo 2005 Evos with the SSL package only had HIDs. HIDs were no longer standard
People are comparing 03 hid technology to almost 20 yrs later led 🤨😩😩 also a fair comparison would be an hid housing to a non
Evo videos 😬😬
More coming 😉
Led are simple ive been running them about a yr ago now dsm
Love them so far
@@MiguelDsm yeah brighter & clear
Gon' blind ppl 👌🏼😂 aha looks good LED are better they're brighter last longer n uses less energy than HID
Haha they’re in projectors. If they were halogen housings then I would be blinding everyone on the road 😂
Not knocking anything you're doing, but general info for the viewers, PnP LEDs ARE NOT "brighter" than standard HID's of comparable quality guys. I know a lot about LEDs & HIDs. Just preventing misinformation on something I'm very knowledgeable about!
