They should have just made your pet auto pick up everything, put some item filters so it only picks up what you want, or just add a button that picks everything up in a small radius...easy solutions a grade schooler could come up with
@@Arcblight why do you people want everything automated? auto fishing, auto looting and so on - just go and play idle game then which plays on its own or get a asian mmorpg with autopathing and auto questing - they got what you want! Thanks! Was just looking for a comment like this! I’m about to buy/play torchlight 2 I’ve just discovered it as it was on sale on Nintendo online for cheap! I like this graphics reminds me of the old Warcraft’s Games a bit. I wanted to play Diablo but don’t like the vibe of the new Game and the direction Blizzard went etc. Cheers for the encouragement to play TL II.
I do believe that was partially what they were going for but I think the diablo immortal backlash may have scared them off that. Sad cause I actually love mobile mmoarpgs and I am hoping that not only immortal do well but it opens the door for some good paid mobile arpgs in the future I loved playing dungeon hunter 3 and 4 on mobile Although dh4 was more pay to win unless you wanted to grind and back track for hours which is what I imagine immortal will be like
I don't hate this game, we all need a title we can just turn on and de-stress with. But there are some frustrating bugs to deal with and the gameplay loop is less than stellar.
My pet has the constant habit of dissapearing, I have to reload the game or chabge pets via chest or my own fort, also leveling is soooooo slooooow, makes it so boring, level 5 takes forever, slow movementbis horrendous as well.
I don't want Path of Exile skill complexity but this does look a bit too over simplified for my tastes... I vaguely remember some game like this as a PC demo back when stores like Comp-USA were a thing. While I enjoyed that demo my tastes have also changed and I hate buying something just to buy, I wish they'd return to the days of demo's where you could try it without feeling compelled to spend money.
What about the multi-player? Can we play in 10 players since the beginning? I want to play with 4 friends. It says on eshop that it supports 10 players multi-player.

torchlight 3 just feels like a try hard imo it doesnt have that vibe torchlight 1&2 gave me. the levels seems so overdone whereas in torchlight 2 the levels just feels right. The skill system is cool but thats just about it. Gameplay is meh, loot drops are ok, pets are really nice since you can collect alot of them now compared to tl2 that only has a few fixed options. overall, its a decent game just dont buy it at its full price
Good review, haven't played the third game but build diversity was always the weak point in Torchlight series. Despite a wide variety of weapon types and their associated skills, there were no interesting combinations that could be discovered or played with. Still pretty good though, especially with the great mod-support.
This one is on sale on switch. I played the second and i found it boring, dull, mediocre story, i didnt manage to keep playing. This one looks a bit more polished and with a higher production value. I think i will bite.
The game is fun, I'm playing it on Xbox One S, but the only thing pushing me away from buying the game itself is it's given to me on gamepass, AND that they've just not fixed anything in well over a month from what posts I've seen... Patches that fix minor pointless class and fort bugs, but don't bother fixing their performance and audio issues. Now they're releasing a whole new class, but still no sign of any performance fixes, it's sad to see such a game with potential go in the bin.
thanks dude that's sealed the deal for me, hate developers that release more content before fixing basics. huge turn off, arks prob the best example, released a ton of dlc without ever fixing screen tearing that was blinding and head ache inducing, which ive been told is a sign that the engine is borked, terrible combat and the janky rest. will not get stung again. is it still bad? games been out for over 6 months.
I actually reported multiple issues with the game on their bug tracking platform, as in controls not working properly on gamepad or mouse+WASD, and they eventually just archived most of my reports without action. It was sad. And very discouraging.
