Amazing cover as usual. I love your renditions of Armored Core soundtracks. Man, does this song fit the franchise. It sounds epic, the composition is beautiful, it hits hard, but as the lyrics show, its also incredibly tragic. No different than the lives of Ravens, Lynxs, Mercenaries, and by extension pretty much everyone else in these worlds. All armored core pilots regardless of their combat prowess ultimately being pretty much relegated to guns for hire. Fighting, and killing countless other people constantly, as well as dying for reasons they usually do not know, or causes they most often do not even believe in, and that is *if* they even care to know, or live for something beyond receiving payment. With those few that do have personal stakes in their missions, or a reason to fight for beyond themselves generally ending up meeting tragic ends more often than not whilst simultaneously being manipulated themselves. This song perfectly captures that, and the mindset of any player trying to actually understand what is going on behind the scenes, and make a real decision with the incomplete answers, and limited information given to the players about the whole picture. Perhaps its unintentionally so, yet I still believe it fits that idea.
