I am a welder by trade and I have one of these welders for on site welding. I have to say that it has suprised me with it's excellent performance and efficiency. I've had it for around 4 years and still working. I've only had to replace the cable's and clamps 👍🏼
Man sollte schon wissen das man die Elektrode bei einem Trafo nicht durch tupfen zündet, sondern durch streichen.

I believe that the arc stops had to do with the not so good contact with the earth. You should have clamped the pieces, because when they just sit at the metal, the contact is not 100%, because of dirt and light touch of each other.

ist das Gerät denn für einen blutigen Anfänger für Zuhause mal was ;zusammenflicken; zu gebrauchen ? mfG
Für einen Anfänger würde ich das Gerät absolut nicht empfehlen, es zündet nicht besonders gut. Ein Top Gerät zum schweißen lernen ist das Weldinger M 130 mini Flux. Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um ein Fülldrahtschweißgerät, bei dem man einfach die gewünschte Materialstärke wählt und losschweißen kann. Gib einfach mal auf meinem Kanal bei den Videos Weldinger M 130 ein, da findest du Videos von diesem Gerät, links zum Verkäufer sind auch in der Beschreibung.

@@turboschneider6407 I am also a beginner, and have struggled with this machine the only 2 times I tried it. Not to mention that I flashed myself because of how difficult it is to start the arc. I've been researching, I will now buy an automatic face mask but still have my doubts about this machine. The manual basically says nothing. And my lack of knowledge doesn't help. May I ask you: is this an inverter or transformer machine? I would like to try soldering with carbon electrodes (good for aluminum), but I suspect this machine may not be good for that. What would you recommend? Should I sell it and buy something else? Thanks in advance!
