I love that John Hurt voiced Woundwort in the first 2 seasons. I wish they'd brought him back for the third. Season 3 wrapped up the story but it was so different, both in its animation and its cast, that there was a disconnect between it and the first 2 seasons. I think the fact that John Hurt didn't return was a big part of that disconnect. In Season 3, Woundwort had enough screen time to almost be considered the protagonist but he also had a different voice actor. The man was good but when you're going up against Sir John Vincent Hurt, one of the very few actors who had a legendary reputation that he actually deserved, you have to be more than just good.
in final fight i believe bigwig>woundwort bigwig blamed campion that because campion cant beat woundwort doesnt mean he cant also campion accepted inferuority to woundwort as it is on your video proved,bigwig and woundwort were fighting till the sun fallen which campion cant fight long battlesp

Woundwart could never win. rabbits thrive on prosperity not oppression. There was no way that he could possibly win even if the watership did not take him down, eventually something would. It was in fact a benefit that he was taken down by the watership. Because his word became legend. A boogie man to make little rabbits go to bed. And even in the book it states woundwart would have been happy with that idea Of his legacy
I love this show just sad they toned down the violence so much. still love it though and the designs for the first two seasons are absolutely great some off the redesign are not though but the new characters designs do look great.
