Finally. After watching for about almost a decade, you’re now explaining and elaborating more sizing details like saying high instep and such. This made a big difference.
Honestly bought these on a whim and I absolutely love them. Comfy af and the color is awesome. They never feel really tight on my foot tho even when they’re laced and zipped up, and I went my true foot length
I remember these kicks they're not for me at this point, but back in the day, I would've copped it's just too bulky in these times! And I'm no longer falling for the gimmicky air bubble because they don't make the kicks comfortable. I'd much more prefer NB or Asics for comfort!
Was very excited for these until watching your review. Hope I still like them after I get my pair! Got my TTS and .5 up because I heard the CDG ran small so wanna see which fit I prefer. Keep up the great reviews
I agree that Nike either has to do a better job innovating on new products or bring back models people don’t already have. Excellent background music on this one, Sean!
Copped with my tts, I have low instep so hopefully I can zip it all the way up while wearing them. I’m excited for these, and I am also looking forward to the Gore Tex ones releasing next year.
Had the OG way back in 99. Same color. Fortunately, I got my size this time as well. Can't find my OGs (they're in the attic somewhere) but I think I remember the shroud being thinner and the laces were oval that had antislip which were shaped like eggs if that makes any sense. The shroud in this year's release is kinda thick, feels like neoprene. PS back in 99, wore them unzipped with shorts, zipped with (elephant) pants 😂
I gave up on sneakers with zip-up shroud long ago; they're almost never comfortable once zipped-up (if they can be zipped up at all). The only pair I'd kept is the Adidas Crazy Infinity 2.5, where the shroud is more cosmetic then functional.
Yeah! 🎉 Well done Sean, great review! Well, went tts, I hope the upper would stretch a bit over time? I just love 90s big sneaker vibe, was expecting little bit more comfort but I believe would be something like am95...?
I love the sunders but for me it's on a list of shoes I like but don't suit my feet. I missed out but I would have the same problem as you regarding the tightness around the zipper/lace
I had to get these since it was my first ever sneaker into the Nike brand. Don't necessarily agree with the price point which I think is a bit high (here in Oz it's AU250), but because of sentimental reasons I needed to get a pair in my men's equivalent size. My OG Sunder at that time was a black/grey with royal blue highlights, when I first saw it I just thought the look is both futuristic and utilitarian.. even today.
When you say these feel firmed underfoot, is it similar to Air Max 1? Also, the rubber outsoles look thick, do they feel bottom-heavy? Thanks very much in advance.
Complete skip for me. Bringing back an archive shoe that has a weird fit and not comfortable when other brands have selected better options from their archive.
Everyone likes what they like but I feel this is the epitome of hype selling along with the NB 1000 model, nasty work, but each to their own. People just buying hype at this point and not interested in anything else.
@@SeanGo I'm seeing this in comments too. I didn't think these would sell out either. But they are a great Nike retro. I remember loving these and Kukini in that era.

Can’t wait to receive mines. Def a shoe I had circled in my Eastbay back in 99 lol

Thanks for the sizing review. I usually come to your channel for models I’m interested in purchasing before hand. Salute and thanks.

@@karenk3458 yep 👍
@@SeanGo These are a lot of things, but "bulky" is not one of them, especially when comparing them to NB or Asics.
@@digitalshakespeare4645right? Not to mention bulky shoes are actually in right now “in these times.” 😂
Well put
Needed your sizing advice before the drop 😞

Which fit best?

I honestly can't wait to get these, i remember these growing up. Glad you did this video. I'm definitely going to size up!
Let's go!
That baby blue one in the beginning is so fire

“These are only bearable to wear unzipped” - proceeds to try on fully zipped 😂
took the pain head on 😭😂
I haven’t been into Nike lately but I think these look great
Yeah! 🎉 Well done Sean, great review!

yeah similar! I’m gonna rock mine for a few days and see if they stretch
Widely produced? In asia Nike only put out womens sizes up to a size 12 womens only
You’re good at reviewing. Thanks!
I really like the model but just waiting on the black color way rumored in the fall. I think unzipped is the way to go!
Same, blk ones will be hard
Waiting for mine to come in next week, very excited for it
Always thought the model was dope, but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for the CDGs. Was lucky to get these, hopefully able to scoop the other two
Same
Great review Sean.
thanks!
Spice girls footwear. Sporty, where you at?!
Where did you get your pair? I’m from Toronto as well
Excited about this shoe for real
These were tuff 💯💯💯
Supposedly SNKRS stock was only a couple thousand actually on these not sure why but weren’t these supposed to be 3M?
grey panels are reflective
Did your pair come with a card in the box?
I love the sunders but for me it's on a list of shoes I like but don't suit my feet. I missed out but I would have the same problem as you regarding the tightness around the zipper/lace
What size should i buy if i have a 44 and they are just selling woman’s size
11.5W for tts and 12W for half size up
Thank you for the review Sean.

it’s held up well 25 years later
@@SeanGo Yes and read that 3 more colourways in Gore Tex/GTX will be added - red, purple and triple black
Great review 🇨🇦 thanks

you similar to that, don’t feel the foam compressing much under foot. They don’t feel too bottom heavy no.
@@SeanGo Alright, cheers bro!
i like them!
Are these shoes waterproof?
@@jefferyhigh245 nope
Untie the laces and just loosen them and tuck the laces that’s what I did and it works fine I also have a narrow foot tho
Seen a girl review these and she said she keep the lace untied and tucks them in the side when she zips the shoe up
smart
Big JLP shoe.
Amazing
💛💛💛💛
Although I don't really like how the silhouette looks, I can appreciate how Nike is bringing back older and obscure models as you mentioned.
Aren't unisex sizing more narrow for men?
yeah which could be why these fit narrow
Disappointing and surprising to hear they’re uncomfortable. I’ll probably return them if that’s the case when I try them on
IMO $180 is way too much for a fully synthetic shoe, not to mention it’s narrow and uncomfortable. It’s no wonder why Nike is struggling.
😭😭😭😭😭
I was afraid these wouldn’t be comfy, and thanks to your review, I now know it’s not a good fit for my feet. So, pass. And thanks for the review 🙏💯
no problem!
Alternatively you can take the laces out of you're going to sip them up
dawg these are stiiiiiinnnnkkkyyy
💩
These are so uncomfortable bro, great looking shoe. But they went so cheap on the materials. Not worth the $190 I payed.
Don't like them on feet, but cool shoe as a concept!
😊
Just cus it’s old doesn’t mean it’s a must Idk why but those front zip gives me Grandma shoe vibe so hard pass also the color
