"Friend Of God" video seems more like 2005 than 2015.

thats what I thought too, just by seeing that punk rock
dude in 04:22 we can tell it is 2005

      So Why the glitch? Typo?
just one 0 or 1 binary mistake - can create a missed decade in one's memory banks
OR some editor doesn't want pleasant memories of 2005 for political reasons: that there was racial multiculturalism on Stage Right before The Obama (D). But in answer to that, there has always been. (seriously. Only someone not familiar with 21st century USA tech, culture, or music would consider that 2005 video a 2015 video. Unless: easy typo.)
Some would consider my skepticism and suspicions far fetched...but we're in 2023 now. Anyone remember Blue Like Jazz? bestseller in Christian pop circles, turns out was associated with Soros' funded Wallis' Sojourners, a far left pseudo Christian outfit. Second half of the book spent slamming GWBush for no reason, a bit off topic for a religious book about seeking God.)
All I can say is in echo of Tauren Wells this year who closed Dove Awards by saying that we can Show Honor. Absolutely. And if that is true, we can also let it be known that we do not respect unearned DIShonor, even in the form of glitches that suspiciously work to misportray, so as to omit, 8 years...or who knows, were any of the Trump years included? Maybe I need to rewatch! Leftists really can get that way. I've learned 'the hardway.' Peace! 🙂😆 @@makafamilymusic

Ok, Cory Asbury in 2018, so that disproves my concern that the typo is because someone was avoiding Trump AND Bush. 😆 But it is a rather obvious typo. Don't mess around with me in the 21st century!

Powerful? In a carnal way? Yes. Thanks to all the gadgets, lighting, enhancers... but these shows are just shows. Praise goes to the band. It's big money, big business. Hollywood invades "Christian music". Everything BUT Jesus and Holy Spirit was there. Perhaps someone call point out where in the Bible the apostles had award ceremony’s, riches, and red carpets? In fact, if you were to mute the music, you’d think this was the Hollywood Grammy Awards lol I find it very bold that these people have the merit to make wealth off the FREE gospel and sacrifice of Christ.

@@thevoiceoftheteacher3581 - No problem. I’ll keep spreading what Apostle Paul told us, even in the face of 2 Timothy 4:3 “Christian’s”

@@thevoiceoftheteacher3581 - Agreed. I’m not coming off as righteous, I’m warning people about the new age religion. I’m warning Christian’s to steer clear of the charlatans coming in the name of Jesus. That’s not judgement. That’s not acting righteous. If it is, than Apostle Paul was wrong then, which he isn’t. These are the end times. Isn’t it a bit crazy how Christianity is a WHOLE lot different now vs just 30 years ago? Todays Christian’s call those times extreme, narrow, or legalistic but it wasn’t any of those. It was worship from the heart and a fear of God. Women wore dresses and covered their heads as the Bible states, not out of religion but faith and respect. They wore dresses, to cover their bodies, not wearing jeans exposing themselves in whatever attire THEY think is ok. These are the same people who drink alcohol because Timothy was told to drink a LITTLE wine for his stomach, so they justify it for themselves. My point is, Christianity today looks like Hollywood. They’re silent on sin. Silent on wrong. Silent in everything and hence the fall of a country that was founded on Biblical principals. Now, we knew this was coming but still, if I can do my part and save ONE soul from this new age one world religion that’ll suck up all these charlatans, I’ll gladly do it.

1400s: "Why have an organ in the church? Those aren't "real" Christians that listen to that stuff."
1890s: "A piano? In church? What an abomination."
1930s: "Lordy be, the apostles never had electricity and they launched the church. Electricity has no place in a house of worship."
1950s: "Why do we need air conditioners in church? My daddy never had no air conditioner. What's next, dancing girls?"
1970s: "The psalmist wasn't talking about guitars when he said to rejoice with stringed instruments."
As long as the song is scriptural and honors God, then it doesn't really matter if there is lighting, guitars, drums, etc. Traditional music isn't better (or worse) than contemporary music. Traditional music was contemporary when it was first written.
