  • In this video, I look at another SKMEI digital watch. Model 1735 in this case. While it features a metal case and a metal bracelet, the "blackout" or negative display is the main feature of this model.
Very inexpensive, it has a very readable display with big numerals. It's a different display than most are used to and quite readable in any light.

You said it's a homage. Which models homage is it? Bigger disadvantages are the non stainless steel case and the huge size of the display. The non curved lugs make it sit uncomfortable on the wrist. Because it wears bigger than it is. But still ιt is one of the best skmeis. Looks quite elegant, the case is metal alloy, it has a cdt timer and bright backlight. So bright that it is almost a... con! Changing the bracelet makes a big difference. The bracelet makes this watch look ugly.

@@entiar1 here to compare for negative vs positive.
positive display allows you to see time in almost 180°
while negative has limited angle: 96°
positive allows most of the light to pass through due to reflecting screen, while negative dosent allow more light to be in the watch, causing limited angles. once you tilt your negative display watch where it's dark, the time no longer shows. positive allows more light and can barely see the time if almost very dark.

@@entiar1 also, that indicator ° was not temperature, it could also indicate angle. if there's a letter next to the indicator like this "°c" it's temperature. angle dosent use the letter, so it's not temperature.
