In 1987 the Renault Medallion was on sale in the US. A car 2 generations ahead from the original Renault 12 from 1969. That Dacia was only a cheaper version of that R12... I have no idea who thought that car would sell well in the US, but I'm glad it happened. Well, sort of... As we can see... That an interesting chapter in the history of the cars from the east.
