- Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by Iranian American journalist Masih Alinejad to discuss her fight against the Iran regime, the constant mistreatment of women under Islamic Republic's rule and her own personal encounters with them, including assassination attempts on her life whilst in America.
Masih explains that people are being killed for the "crime" of criticising Sharia laws and the Islamic Republic's rulings. Piers draws similarities to Afghani women who are fighting for their own rights while under Taliban ruling after US troops fled the country last year. Masih says that the women in these countries fighting for their human rights on the front line are her heroes and gives a powerful message: "You can take our life, you can take our eyes, you can take our bodies - but not our hope".

I’m not against any religious, I believe whatever you believe and practice, it’s between you and God. There is no specific prescribed punishment for the abandonment of the Hijab. Where in the Shari’a does it say that you should be killed if you don’t wear the hijab 😂🤦♂️.
More interestingly, if a man walks around without his trousers and gets arrested - nobody is going to say ‘oh no they arrested him because of his trousers! Trousers are so oppressive!’; so why is the Hijab made oppressive. Islam has a moral code for both women AND MEN. There are parts to be covered, just as with western society, but the line at which this is drawn is different - and why should we follow your metrics by which you arbitrarily decide at the discretion of desire?

Islam is NOT about hijab! Unfortunately most of the "true muslims" don't even know the meaning of arabic word "muslim". It means Believe/r in One God. And basically all followers or believers of Abrahamic religions are muslims! As simple as it is! NOWHERE in Holy Quran (original arabic) is written that women must where hijab! Besides, no human should interfere in other humans belief or religion, moreover its practice, as (it is mentioned in ALL Holy Books) each person is responsible for his/her deeds. Religion MUST NOT be enforced, as it is done in some countries. In those countries religion stopped being a true belief and became the political tool to influence.

For any non-muslims watching this/reading the comments, there is NO prescribed punishment in Islam for women who do not wear the hijab (the Islamic view is that women should wear the hijab; if they don't, it's not for anyone to judge them except for God). If Iran (or any other state for that matter) kills women who don't wear the hijab then that act has nothing to do with Islam or shari'a law.
I do not know what this woman went through, but I hope she doesn't paint her activism as a fight against shari'a law or Islam, because it's not. It's a fight against her country's laws, which have nothing to do with Islam except that their officials claim to be an Islamic republic.

@@mz6367 Islam is based on the Quran, and there is NOTHING in the Quran that says “kill women who don’t wear the hijab.” So, if someone goes on killing women because of that then we muslims have the right to disassociate ourselves from them (even if they claim to be muslim).
This is the verse in the Quran that prescribes the hijab for women: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused.
And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran, 33:59). Tell me, where does it say “kill them if they don’t.”
It pains me that people have used the name of Islam to tyrannical acts in your or other countries, but I have to defend my religion when it really is misrepresented like this.
