It is absolutely insane to me that all of the classic MW2 maps that I expected to play as dlc to the new MW2 were held back and released with an entirely new game that I have to pay $70 for. I've been so disappointed in CoD since MW2019.
As long as they increase flinch on one shot weapons before launch we might avoid a Cold War sniper situation
Or if the community whines enough, they'll increase the TTK to compensate for the one-shot weapons. I hate slow TTK because my favorite class, the shotguns *ALWAYS* gets shafted.
I feel like they'll buff the damage by 1 bullet for most weapons. The TTK is almost as slow as BO4 and Vanguard, while I loved BO4 the mechanics are entirely different and I don't know if I'd want good movement and high health given how the Modern Warfare games play

@@BetaBreakingshotguns should be bad cuz with enough range they re crazy op and takes 0 skill to use. First 7 months of mw2019 were ruined cuz of 725 until they finally got it nerfed right

I hope they bring back patrol mode from Vanguard and pacing options .Those were good additions to COD IMO and I'd like to see them more often. Also that gun sounds cool.
Low key, I actually enjoyed patrol as well. It was less campy and faster paced compared to hardpoint. I think it played that way because the objective literally keeps moving. So if you camp, 1. Most likely aren’t going to see any enemies to kill 2. Won’t be capturing the obj to win

So when the full game is out, what would be the point of using bolt actions as opposed to the semi autos that can one hit to the chest as well?

At least in the case of MW2019, bolt action usually meant higher bullet velocity and higher damage as a tradeoff for speed. Watching these clips, he still gets a decent number of hitmarkers, I imagine a bolt action would be able to one shot extremities as well instead of mainly head and chest

At least that game required some skill for sniping since there was no aim assist on the locus
If your game looks gray and colorless double check your settings under Interface, Color Customization, Color Filter Settings and make sure Color Filter is on Filter 2, Color Filter Target is set to Both and your World Color Intensity is at least 85.

The guardian is also currently in CODM their it microwaves you. Beside that their is also deployable shield which burns the enemy in MP and flashbangs you in BR. Their are two irl counterpart to them one is directional sonic cannon shown in MW2023 and the second is micrwave cannon in CODM. Both are non lethal irl but the second one is more belivable as lethal killstreak. Hope that they replace sonic one with microwave one.
They had this device as far back as bo2, altho if we talk chronologically the game is way ahead of where we are rn with modernization 😂
@@xavierharvey4961 Yeah I remember but I was counting about current ongoing COD titles. Had hoped that we could get out of this yearly cycle so we can get a much more detailed COD but you know. With online services their is need for games to have more life cycle instead of just a year. Previous titles from OG MW series and WaW/BO series only provided basic online service of MP so yearly title made sense but now at least to me it's not.

My opinion on any arcade sniper rifles is that it shouldn't be a one shot unless it's to the head. If it does one shot, never the limbs, and make it slow, unwieldy, and bolt action.

Long time to kill coupled with one-shot weapons is a recipe for disaster. Didn't Cold War have this issues with snipers that snipers were banned in tournaments because they refused to nerf it?

As someone who has never played MW2’s multiplayer and therefore doesn’t really know any of the maps, I prefer Skidrow over Estate and Favela thus far. I know the layout of most of the others, so experiencing them for the first time is quite exciting as they are hailed as some of the best maps of all time.
Idk why people are acting like Estate and Favela were loved on the OG MW2. Everyone hated those maps even back then. They were a camper heaven. They'd always get skipped when they came up in the vote.

People aren't acting like they were loved for no reason, or as if Activision was playing people to say that. It was because it WAS loved. Period. What people REALLY HATED was Wasteland, Derail and Invasion.
@@pavmx703 yeah i think its just nostalgia.. I mean people were dropping nukes on favela but it wont even play the same with the new game. Honestly i thought most MW2 maps were campy.. My favs are high rise and terminal (even though terminal Domination C flag spawn trap was the worst lol)... Wasteland is by far the worst overall in any COD probably
@@thesilver7238 That's a lot of people's experience. I'm not stating an opinion. If you played MW2 2009, you would know that what I'm saying is true. It doesn't have anything to do with if I liked the maps or not. That's irrelevant. 9/10 times, when those maps came up, they lost the vote. Any OG knows this is true.
@@bhopirl4552 The DLC ones were dope asf no lie. The trailer park map, the apartments from the dlc, downpour, junkyard. They had some fire on there. The launch maps were pretty meh but the dlc maps were fire. Now one map that I HATED but seemed to be liked, was Karrachi. I could not STAND that map.

Yeah I feared this. Though it's not just red dots, it can be any basic 3-5x magnifier/scope. I've seen plenty of gameplay of people absolutely shredding with zero downsides and I honestly will not be buying this game if I'm forced to use a sniper or shotgun to stay competitive.
Also may I add: when the community said we wanted less visual recoil, we didn't mean remove ALL recoil.
They increased the health but kept the one shot weapons??? RIP

@wukongistrash do you think it makes sense to have weapons that take a minimum of 5 shots to kill with weapons that one shot? Is that balanced? After all people, for some reason, think it's skilled to get your aim on someone, then pull the trigger, but isn't that what everyone else is doing?

Weapon balance, visibility, resolution, sound design are the 4 biggest problems for me

The sounds are great! Your headset mustn't be mate. Feel they just need to remove the bloom affect when jumping and STILL the "sliding around roofs not being able to look down" bug. Feels nothing like Vanguard only looks like it abit from shit beta resolution

Definitely seems OP but also hard to balance around. Idk what I would do, maybe semi snipers should only one tap head. Increase the recoil & flinch a little bit. Or just no small optics on snipers lol.

i feel anything short of taking red dots away from snipers will really do anything at all lmao. just too easy to use, even if you flinch more as a change, the target acquisition and fov when aimed with these beast snipers is just too easy to use.

This is why MWII was better in terms of ttk. The longer it takes for an AR to kill someone, the more overpowered snipers and shotguns are. MWII's ttk was balanced and made most weapons a viable option
It’s not like they can’t just nerf ADS time or make the damage rangers smaller for specific areas
@@HRTzFPS Yes but quickscoping is a major part of the game and i feel like messing with the ads times and increasing the chance of hit markers just makes matters worse

Rather increase flinch. High ttk feels so good due to the reward for having actually good aim.

Was thinking this. TTK is slower with all guns except snipers. Even greater advantage than in MW2 for snipers. Even the shotgun is horrendous.

Giving any sniper that can kill with one shot to the body anything lower than a 8x scope and fast ADS to the point that you can compete with any weapon that SHOULD win against it, was a mistake.
Same goes for giving shotguns more of a "realistic" range.

I mean, the SPR has existed for 4 years now. The SAB/LAB are also one shot snipers with irons/red dots that are also one shots. So I mean, atleast it's a Sniper.

This game is basically mw2 along with sledgehammers leftovers of assets from previous games, I’m talking about gun attachments etc. Also some attachments eg barrels are not even compatible to most of the guns, I don’t know, feels odd and rushed
The hit markers are so fucking satisfying in this game I cannot wait to play this friday

The game kinda feels like it was supposed to be a black ops game but somewhere got switched to an MW game for whatever reason.
Not gonna lie, that little pop off at the start just had me feeling nostalgic for COD of my youth. What is the general consensus here, is it worth getting or is it just another COD.
i played mw2 beta at friends made my decision for the whole year i wouldnt be buying it. i didn’t. player mw3 beta at friends decided i will definitely be indulging this year.
So far, it's pretty good ngl. It's the MW2 maps so you already know the maps aren't going to suck. If you played any of the recent cods, the time to kill in this will feel so much higher which it is which is the reason why one shot guns will be more OP than ever before as is demonstrated in this vid. Hopefully they will fix that somehow but I don't see how apart from severely nerfing these guns or increasing time to kill for all the guns.
And people said they wanted an iron sight attachment for the snipers in mw 2019

That Red dot isn't even on the KV Inhibitor on full release which is stupid, because it was great in beta with it, then they removed it.
Handler, how you liking ps5 kbm?? Also, the game looks and runs pretty good on something thats only (in some cases) 400$
It only has to run at a maximum of 120fps and console makes heavy use of dynamic resolution scaling to keep it's target FPS
@@arcticowl1091 true , and i agree its a compromise to have 120 on console. But name a $400 pc that at (1080p lowest) runs at 120 with similar graphics settings (particles, etc.)
@@Mr_Possibility i mean the only reason these consoles are this cheap is because they subsidize the loss on the hardware with software sales. you're stuck with having to buy PS plus like a chump if you wanna play online with the game you just bought on the exact same servers as people on PC who don't have to spend a dime to get online in game. you save in the short run but you'll be spending more in the long run.
@@arcticowl1091 You are right, that part is kind of annoying. But to be fair , free games (like warzone or Fortnite) do not require ps plus to play i believe.
