Seeing The Warning live is a full body experience! The passion and energy they transmit to the audience is highly contagious. They are equally at home in both North America and South America where they are currently. The hype behind this band is fully justified!
Alejandra will make you groove with her bass, Paulina We'll blow your mind With her drum pills and her ballads will make you cry, Daniella What a sweetheart The oldest of the sisters at a whopping 23 years of age, She can make you cry or she can melt your face with her guitar rifts. Long live The Villarreal sisters, You have been warned⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘🤘🤘
Live really is The Warning's secret sauce. I saw them in Chicago in May. Going down to Mexico in a couple weeks to see a couple shows there. The wall of sound. Their charisma. Their enjoyment being on stage. It all makes for a great evening of live music. Thanks for continuing your journey with them. They sure do seem to have hit on something many folks have been looking for.
Pau has said at the end of a long concert (this was 2hrs) she struggles to hit the real low notes because of exhaustion. But this song has always had Pau singing up there. She has a great range.
Disciple packages all their trademark sounds together -- a bass intro from Ale, trading lead vocals from Dany and Pau, all three harmonizing and layering, some great drum fills, caesuras, and more. Arena Rock is alive and well with The Warning around.
This entire concert is awesome, definitely worth your time to check all of them out. Try "23" from there next, you haven't done that song at all yet. They have a couple shows left in South America, then will be touring in Mexico through early December. After that, I think they are going to work on the next record. Only thing scheduled for next year , so far, is Wacken Open Air in August.
And the week long Rock Cruise in the Caribbean. They will most likely play another month long tour in Europe & France around Wacken as well. We're rooting for Hell Fest! 🤘
This concert desperately needs to be released as a live album. This is this their calling, their superpower. And i only discovered them a few weeks ago. They are amazing. Oh yeah, and your reaction videos are good, too😉.
Every time I watch them, I’m reminded that they’re musical geniuses. When you start to think that you know what you’re going to get, they exceed your expectations, again. Always magnificent. Thanks for an awesome video, guys. I loved the commentary. :-)
Great reaction guys! Dany as lead vocalist, has the widest range especially at the high end, especially in the loudness range. She has the rock edge vocals. Pau has a decent range in a more ballad suited vocal style. Her weakest is her lower range and does a nice job in her high range whether as background harmonies and when she takes lead duties. There a few songs where she especially shines on the ERROR album as well as in this concert. My favorite lead by her however is still The End from the Lunario concerts which also has a killer Dany guitar solo as well as Dany singing the last line because Pau can't reach the range that last line is written in. 💖✨🔥⚡🚀🤘🏽
Nice reaction, guys! I'd say that Pau's singing voice is naturally "cleaner sounding" whereas Dany's has an innate huskier quality. It's awesome to have multiple singers in a band (and family) that aren't just talented but also diverse.
Ale pretty much plays her Inferno 5 string Spector with the LED Fret markers exclusively. Dany has them as well on her Maroon PRS, but she now has a full time Guitar tech on stage, so she switches out guitars tuned for each song, and uses a handful of them, so you don't see them LED's as often. They used to re-tune on stage between songs, a LOT. Key change was a big thing for them on older material, but not so much post QOTMS. I see others have suggested 23 from this show, and I agree. Great song, and Pau lets it rip on vocals. Thanks guys! 🤘
Pau in the breakdown does employ a higher pitched little girl like voice for effect. It's not her normal singing voice. As for your next TW video, just pick one from this Teatro show, you can't go wrong as you've seen.
Pau's voice is always kinda like that. Her voice is either higher (or a touch more nasally) or it's "breathier" than Dany's fuller voice. This song is a good example of the difference between the two because Pau does a bit of both in contrast to Dany's voice.
I was watching some fan footage of one of this week’s shows in Columbia (Bogota, I think). The crowd was singing so loudly that it was almost difficult to hear the band. Not a bad thing.
Beyond the musicality emitted by the instruments, masterfully executed... Or the stupendous voices, each day more mature and better... Of the deep lyrics, inspired by his innate genius... And the paraphernalia of the "show", which achieves its goal... It's inescapable that this moves you from the depths of your emotions when you observe what the girls are doing in their performance. It's more than a pleasure to see how Pau (example) really enjoys what she does, which seems to be a game that amuses her so much that she gives herself up, contributing all her emotions and, at the same time, allows herself to be the receptacle of everything that can transmit what's happening to her, happening around you, transforming everything into a virtuous circle of unsurpassed quality. Well, surely only surmountable by themselves. And they've so much mastered what they're doing that they only have to give themselves completely, passionately (as Latinoamericans know how to do), to what they like to do best and most, in a way in which they've fun and fully enjoy it. For this and many more things TW will conquer the world of rock!! INEVITABLE Thanks for reacting to TW.. Greetings from Mexico!! 🇲🇽 🤘😬✌️
Pau actually wrote the bass riff (on piano - "Ale, you'll find out - you know what I mean") so no wonder the bass/drum syncopation is on point. Anyway, this is another example of the sisters' magic. According to Pau - she has the highest range, but with deeper overtone, but she cannot reach lower notes. That's why Dany always take the lower notes.
I know exactly the piece of video that you’re referring to where Pau said that. At that time it was likely true. Today, however, Dany’s high range has blown past Pau. Dany’s range has jumped up noticeably as her voice has matured into adulthood and will likely continue through her 20’s as long as she continues to train. When they where writing Choke Pau reportedly questioned if Dany could hit the high notes in the chorus. Dany went to work and not only “got there” but now nails it every live performance. Dany’s hitting a D5 at the end of her ascending belt in the chorus of Choke according to at least 2 reputable vocal coach reactions I’ve watched which isn’t mind blowing for a female vocalists but is impressive. I’m not trying to say I’m any kind of vocal expert but I listen to those that know much more than I do. It’s also my understanding that Dany hasn’t really tapped into her pure head voice as of yet. Apparently she sings her vocal belts in mixed voice which if I understand correctly is a combination of chest and head voice. Some have even suggested that Ale’s falsetto is actually the “highest” of the sisters in range as falsetto occurs primarily in head voice. The way that TW incorporate their vocals in their performances is masterful. Yes Pau does come “over the top” with high harmonies regularly but that is planned because Dany is singing lower in her range. It seems to me that both Pau and Ale’s vocals get stronger as they go higher in their range which has always struck me as funny because Ale sings predominantly low harmonies. Dany seems to have the vocal chops to project powerfully throughout her range.
@@mjc1389 I have no doubt that Dany will get there eventually. She is constantly working on improving her abilities. The one I personaly am hoping most of is Ale. Both sisters have said earlier that she wasn't there yet because she did not work on it, but I believe she will, in her own accord and time. I agree about Ale's falsetto - impeccable from a young age. I am a huge fan of Floor Jansen, (and Simone Simons) both have shown what can be achieved if one works with one's voice. Floor is for sure a master and IMO the most versatile female vocalist out there. DPA are young, so we can await greatness for them all.
@@wannabedane4046 you and me both! How cool would it be for TW to have 3 legitimate leads? IMO Ale is a virtual pot o’ gold potential wise. She will likely continue to show marked improvement in every aspect of her musicianship as she transitions into adulthood as her sisters have done before her. Ale’s advantage may be she has spent more of her upbringing immersed in the professional aspects of being in a band so she may receive the greatest benefit from it. Like you said it is really determined by how much Ale choses to develop vocally. I would think that she probably has the best gauge of anyone as to what her potential may be but that’s only one factor. Some people who are so accomplished at one area of music may not obtain the same satisfaction as others at mastering a different aspect and we all should honor Ale’s judgement and aspirations. Thanks for the great dialogue.
There is so much going on when they are playing, every time I watch and listen I can appreciate new treats. Your reaction made the experience perfect. It´s a great song and it has a great official video but when it comes to TW, live is always best!⚡⚡⚡
Pau is very dramatic when she sings without drumming. I hope you will continue with your Teatro Metropolitan reactions. Even the songs you have already heard/seen have a new sound, since the girls were so young and have refined and improved everything about their performance. Good examples are Queen of the Murder Scene and Dust to Dust live at Teatro. They are much harder hitting. I really like your reaction style and your music. There are more and more fans being generated by the VMA songs. Can't go wrong having The Warning Army tuning in.
No better way to wake up on a Monday. Ready for battle now. This one sets the bar extremely high. Crazy. Thanks. Can't wait to hear your new stuff, too.
Pau has more than audio tracks on there, she also controls the lights, video clips, Dany's pedal board, and probably other stuff. She talks about it a bit in a gear video a few years back.
This is my favorite song by them live it was also the first one I saw. 🔥 Obviously I was hooked and have enjoyed them all the way down the rabbit hole. Pau filling while singing lead blows me away every time I see it glad you showed it twice. Thanks guys I enjoyed your reaction. ⚡🤟
Regarding guitar lights: I think both Ale's Spector bass and Dany's PRS guitar have red LED insets along the top of the necks that are always on. It helps them find their fret placement when the stadium is dark.
This song so perfectly accentuates each of them and the synergy they create together as a band. Dany is the energy, Pau the fury, and Ale the glue that holds it all together.
Jeff Johnson!!! Good on you dude!! It’s my opinion, this is by far The Warning’s best live performance to date! And is this not the infamous double bum bump?? 😂
Great! Thank you! Qué bueno es verlos reaccionar a The Warning. Sigue habiendo mucho material. Esperando ver más con ustedes. Pasado mañana las veré en vivo, qué emoción!
I believe their best concerts are in Mexico, best performance and the girls always sing new songs exclusively in Mexico. The four bonus songs on error were only sung in Mexico. Only Kool aid kids was sung in America. I make it to every concert in Mexico
Regarding Pau's vocal break at 9:09, I think she might have been channeling some anime movie character for that little portion, (they ARE into anime, you know?) It kind of has that feel.. anyway, one of their best works overall, IMHO, especially the music vid!😍😃👍👍
