Shane Harvey no issues for us with the trike & the folding cage. The Smart move would be to get the standard cage if you have an older wing that does not inflate very easily. Also if you do not have a good routine & a proper technique you can damage the cage trying to inflate your wing, so we can help you with that if you want some tips, layout your wing nicely, push the A’s as you apply power, stay pushing until your wing is overhead, works perfect with this folding cage because it’s heavy duty titanium!
Left a message on your vmail. Get in touch. Considering buying/sending a Motor to Alaska for the summer and the idea of being able to connect that motor to a trike is appealing.@@minyardmatt
Shane Harvey hi Shane please send me an email with a list of exactly what you want, good news for you is we keep the gear in stock! Shipping to Alaska is fine, we can package it for you & send it soon if you are interested! Thanks
How does the new travel cage compare to the foldable one in terms of rubustness and wheigt? How about spare part costs? Would you recomment? And by chance, do you know the dimensions of the macfly travel bag? Thanks!!
The new Travel Cage is my favorite, some repeat customers prefer the folding cage but I'm selling more travel cages by far than anything else. Just as strong, same weight, spare parts are cheaper with the new travel cage, the folding cage actually cost more to manufacture... The key points, same price for you, same strength, always high quality full titanium, the dimensions of the travel bag I would have to measure but it's approx 1/4 of the cage size and holds the entire cage with the prop inside perfectly!
If I've gotta travel Back to the Future, I want to see the paramotor's Flux Capacitor, and I'd also like to get a large order of Fries and a Strawberry Milkshake to go, please. What's really amazing when you think about it; 35 mph is all the speed we need to make the jump? Unbelievable what modern technology can do ; )
I can’t take these videos seriously anymore all these guys say they have the best motor then two months later they are selling something different saying it’s currently the best in all honesty it’s a frame and a motor they all do the same exact thing the little back bars are a joke that does nothing different and “balanced”? Once you set your hang point on any motor it’s balanced come on guys and as far as the fuel you don’t need to fly more than two hours before and after sunset as a beginner I Hope everyone can see through the bull shit and just choose what you want don’t listen to the fake hype
Super Super hi super. This gear is actually not the average washed up gear that people buy. This is used by world champions, build for the job & flies very proper, the proof is obvious when you fly one, you should try it. You would be better at flying if you flew a Macfly, same for most pilots who are misinformed, I’m not trying to fool anyone. This is all true & it really works, guarantee that it works so well I’ll buy it back from you if you don’t absolutely love it. Everyone who flies a Macfly really truly loves it, it’s often that people come to me with a name brand XYZ frame and upgrade with this brand because it is better. I let the people choose what they want & we have demo units for anyone who is interested. Be open minded because you may just fall in love with this motor. We did that’s for sure, it’s very nice on the ground, it is well balanced in the air & flies better than most frames that is for sure. Again the unit speaks for itself when you fly it. Thanks & have a nice day.
Super Super, While I understand some of your points, I can't help but wonder "who pissed in your Cheerios?". Seriously? Your slamming a man that not only loves what he does, but he's pointing out the attributes of a product he sells. Clearly you are not the owner of a business, or in any type of sales, if you were I can just hear your line of bullshit (FYI it's one word, not two), I guess it would go something like: "yes it's all the same crap, just in a different package......but if you'll buy it from me, I will gladly scoop it up and put it in your car, because trust me I know crap!". So Super Pooper, If you don't like this product, or the guy that's presenting it.........move on, and take your pissed-on Cheerios with you. Oh and have a nice day. LOL (for the record, I don't know Matt, nor have I been in his store.........yet. But after your sincere endorsement, I may. So thumbs up to ya)
@@minyardmatt I'm very interested how this motor cancels the torque effect. It most other frames encounter some twist due to the horizontal component of prop torque and gyroscopic procession on acceleration?
@@carts4138 I don't know the technical details, but I've flown this frame with Matt and I torque was never a thought in my head and I never even noticed it, during all flying it was just.... flying.
Also, love watching your videos, you are an amazing pilot. How long have you been flying motors? My wife and I are in our 60’s, started this journey 1 year ago. Now we have our P2 and working on our ppg2.
@@wesley4118 hi I've been motoring for 8 years, I've flown on all the continents and 28 different countries.. Nirvana builds great paramotors, however when I fly a Macfly Titanium frame I feel the most comfortable, I love the power of the moster 185 & ease of use, also the atom 80! However the reason I love Macfly the most is because they do the best job of torque correction while having a heavy duty, light weight motor for about half the price of a Nirvana paramotor. So half price and double the performance if you ask me.
Matt Minyard Matt, wish we had spoken to you sooner, but did not know you could reply on YOUTube. Anyway thanks for all the learning content, we just love it!! Az WindWalkers Wes and Debbie from Arizona.
@@minyardmatt Also, I'm a huge fan! Love your videos and watched a bunch of them before taking the dive to get training. I've made friends with one of your recent students who's rocking the same gear that Lorran Michaels hooked me up with. Keep up the great work!
@@pfd_mark_taylor sounds great, no doubt about it that PAP is a top choice as well, This video is just showing everyone the new options which we fell in love with!
Yes I have flown it, I think it's a good machine if you were in 1990 and looking to upgrade your walkerjet, but since we are in 2020 I have found much better machines to fly, it's totally dangerous to fly something that doesn't weight shift or have anti torque which is why I do not fly flat top or would ever recommend it, I almost had a full riser twist on the flat top and the new version angel round top, so unfortunately for the manufacturers who produce something that's been phased out a dozen years ago... they are fighting a tough battle.. fortunately for us pilots who are open minded we get to choose much better & safer gear to fly !
They need to make a special edition “MacFly MattFly” model.
nice sales pitch Matt, I can tell you don't like that part of the job but when you get to the technical aspects you're in your element
Any issues with flying the trike with the folding cage version of the motor? Understand trikes often put more pressure on cages.
