All the best from Mandy and myself. You're doing all the right things. I'm sure it will work out for Jess. Its a horrible feeling when your dog gets ill and you have to play the waiting game to see how things turn out. Having had our scare with Penny a little while back was no fun for sure. But this all sounds very positive x
First of all! YAY! That’s such good news. Cisco often has an upset tummy and I get a bit worried but we’re lucky and it usually goes away, and has done when we changed his food. I’m sure you guys will find an answer with your vets. I’ve actually have heard a lot of other sighthound owners having similar problems. I’m sure she’ll be okay. You guys are doing the best you can for her and that’s all that matters. Second of all, you look absolutely gorgeous ❤️
I feel like a weight has been lifted seeing this I'm so happy Jess will be home by now! I have a whippet Missy, and she has been poorly the past week and it sounds like we're heading down a similar path to you. I've cried to my vet so so many times as I'm also an anxious dog mum😅😅 give Jess a squeeze from Missy🥰🥰
She’s home and on the sofa, under a blanket, squeezed in between Olly and I! She’s still a bit dopey from the anaesthetic but she’s happy to be home. Poor Missy and poor you- sending you all a cuddle! 🥰
@@Worriedwhippet Oh bless her, and you as well. Our 12 year old German Shepherd, who was once hearty, is losing weight rapidly, and we know it's only a matter of time. We just enjoy the snuggles and make sure she's happy and free from pain. I am sending you so much love!! 💕
Our whippet Harry also has gastrointestinal issues. We've had to change him to Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Skin/Food Sensitivities Dry Dog Food. He has been fine ever since and thankfully has also gained weight because he also lost a lot of weight initially when he was pooping a lot.
Hopefully the exclusion diet helps you find an answer. I admire the solitary cry because I would have been a mess. Hope Jess enjoys lots of cuddles to make up for the lack of treats. X
Had to do something very similar with Kira as her stomach was terrible when I got her. Turns out she couldn’t digest protein. Hope you figure things out really soon. Love to you all. 💜
Have had to do an exclusion diet with my greyhound Bliss who was suffering intermittent runny poop. Muzzle was needed to stop him eating 'street treets' (random food dropped on footpath). It took time but now have him on food and treats that sit well with him. Fingers crossed it goes well for Jess.
Yeah I’m nervous we won’t be able to stop her eating stuff off the floor but we’ve done some muzzle training in the past so we’ll definitely go that route if we need to. I’m glad Bliss is doing better!
Ugh, I know the anxiety that comes with a sighthound who's doing poorly and you can't figure out what's going on. Sending big hugs your way!
Big virtual hugs!!! Our whippet Dugal has a sensitive tummy too. Keeping fingers crossed for Jess for a speedy recovery.
Thank you! And give Dugal a cuddle from us

So happy she’s doing well & they didn’t find something. You guys will do great with figuring out foods 👍🏻💕
Thank you ❤️ it’s such a relief!

@@jodia1856 big hugs to all of you from us!
Sighthounds can be prone to sensitive stomachs so I feel you! I definitely identify with “anxious dog parent”! Sending love x
They’re so sensitive aren’t they! And we are too 😂
Very impawtant advice: Keep up with the Stay In Bed All Day Club & hugs hugs and more hugs. That's essential. ❤
Best advice yet! ❤️
Glad the tests went well. I like the new lens!
Hopefully I’ll learn to keep it in focus! 🤞
I'm so happy it's good news! The elimination diet will be a pain but you're a fantastic owner
Thank you 🥲 I’m just relieved we have a plan!

Aw I’m really glad he’s doing better!
