- It had rained all weekend in Seattle so we decided to check out Colonnade. This DIY Mountain Bike is mostly protected from the weather as it was built underneath I5. Exit 168 headed south gets you there.
It was a super fun place to check out and really incredible all the features and work people have put in. There were some signs of trash and abandoned features but all in all I was really impressed. The size of it is quite incredible and there's features for everyone to practice their skills.
I was riding my new 2020 Kona Process 153 and Jordan was riding his 2020 Ibis Ripmo. This was Filmed on the Gopro Hero 8 Black and uploaded in 4K. SUBSCRIBE for more!
Dude I need to ride with you. I need that type of encouragement in my life.
Always stokin!
This is awesome dude! I live right across the water I'm totally about to ride over and check this thing out.
Man I'm stoked you're going to check it out! It's fairly big and while editing this I noticed some areas/ features I didn't see while I was there. Have fun bro!
Yes, we need to start riding here more and reclaim it from the homeless folk
@@galan89 It's actually ridable even with the current "residents!"
awesome stuff, i like how pumped you get for your friend going off drops lol his ripmo af looks super clean i just ordered one yesterday!
He's a month new to biking so i always stoke him up ha. He loves that bike I'm stoked you got one 🤙
Dude this place is so cool!!
Cheers man! We're lucky to have such a rad diy mtb park! Love your content bro but you already know it 🤙
Pumped on this video! Was just thinking about heading down there. Looks so much better now
Thanks homie! I hope you hit it up!
Lots of love being forwarded to this park this season! Entrance to the pump track brushed earlier wearing 2 pair of jeans, pump track weeds removed by hoe and the single track to the north has seen more love than ever!
@@alpinglow so rad to hear! I'll have to visit soon again.
This is great more and more people riding colonnade again 🤙🏻
Love to see it!
Nice video and nice park. I've always wondered what it was like. I never have my bike when I'm in Seattle.
Yeah I can't believe it took me so long to check it out! Maybe we could rent or borrow a bike for you next time you're here. See the new bike pops?
@@snowboard-en yeah, i checked out your sweet downhill on the single-track, but I didn't finish the video, so didn't comment yet. Nice Ride!
@@keplernewman awesome! Yeah it's a long video haha but it's the entire trail so viewers can get an idea of what to expect if they're headed that way
beautiful
Dude this is awesome. What do you use as a bike?
Cheers! I have a 2020 kona process 153!
@@snowboard-en OK, that's little pricey. What would recommend under 1k.. 😳
@@Cruc1alz i feel you i actually got this on offer up used. You'll definitely want to buy older so you can get more bike. It also depends on what kind of riding will you be doing? Downhill, cross country, etc. Then i would look up on offer up, criagslist, facebook market place etc. Look for brands like transition, kona, evil, ibis etc. I rode a kona stinky for years (heavy downhill but cheap). If you can expand $1500 to $2k your options will open up greatly. Lmk if I can help anymore, cheers
That’s so sick! I have not heard of this, do you know who built those?
Man I don't but originally it was built over 10 years ago. I'm pretty sure it's been in a rollercoaster of different conditions but seems pretty good now!
Evergreen mtb built it...massive volunteer community
@@ronmatthews2170 yeah i figured I intend on volunteering with them soon.
cool 🤙
cheers
I'm surprised the campers have not taken over.
From what I hear it's an ben back and forth but it was pretty good when we were there!
Thanks for sharing! It looks like this beginner guy would not be able to ride this...
Happy to share! I'd say definitely check it out cause I was hitting kind of middle ability features. There seems to be something for all ability levels.
Like a kiddie park
Are there any jump lines in the park. And if so how big are they
There were some bigger jump lines I'm a terrible judge on size for mtb. If you're in the area though I suggest checking it out!
There’s 3 jump lines small medium and large the large one there is a big bridge gap I have a quick vid on my channel on the jump line I’ll find a link so you can judge for yourself

Big jump line
@@FishstixTv thanks for the share homie
@@FishstixTv just subbed to your channel!
Is that in Eastlake?
It's right off exit 168 if you're headed south. So i think just above east lake/below cap hill?
Haha nice
Cheers bro!
Is that the Colonnade?!
Yeah it's pretty sweet!
@@snowboard-en it looks so clean! 😆
@@tobynapalm yeah honestly a lot better than i expected tho. A few garbage piles for sure.
Since it was your first time.... I wont yell.
Please stay off the stairs. Thats why the park was built.
Copy that. Just to prevent damage or to keep pedestrians safe? I honestly didn't think twice about it until you mentioned it
Both reasons actually.
Usually the stairs are busy with walkers going up and down any time of the day!
