  • The Train Mountain Safety Video was created in 2018 by 7idea Productions. This 16-minute video is the version that will be required to watch prior to operating at Train Mountain.
    Train Mountain (at lat. 42.55741 lon. -121.88707) is halfway between Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Crater Lake National Park. The small City of Chiloquin, Oregon, is just to the east of Train Mountain.

    I know Train Mountain has it's own Radio channels when are they required in use compared to the standard FRS radio channels?

      We have switched exclusively to the UHF radios on our licensed frequencies. We made an exception for the Triennial and utilized FRS radios because we figured it was more reasonable to expect attendees to have FRS radios than UHF radios.

      @@trainmountainrailroad I figured I can't find any UHF radios in my area I got GRMS which works within the FRS radio frequencies

      Generally, probably not. Most trains at TM are owned by members.

    Where does one get a train?

      @trainmountainrailroad  10 месяцев назад +1

      Many people build them! But there are a few small companies that make them and sell them. Here's an example: thetrainworks.com/
