Brian! Put a block at the end of your tracks with a button on top and a powered rail as the rail in front of the block. Then when you press the button it will turn on the rail for a second and it will send the Minecrart off. So now you don't have to launch off the tracks at the end.

How to build stairs:
1) Open Green book
2) Find craftable stairs
3) Hold shift while clicking it.
4) Hold shift while clicking the stairs created.
But if you're aiming for the 10 minute mark I suggest using the slowest method.

Brian in the crafting table if you click on the green book on the left it opens up all of the recipes and you can make anything really quickly. By clicking the recipe for stairs it will make them quickly. So you don't have drag items one by one into the crafting table.

Brian you know theres a faster way to craft stairs right? when you have the crafting table open click on the book. then check mark so it only shows what you CAN craft. After that hold shift and click on the stairs from the list of book recipes. Then hold shift again and click on the crafted stairs on the right. BOOM

Terrorizer wat the blue bouncy ball thing do is that u can use it to build a thing underwater to build something to breathe underwater and swim much faster if ur close to it. Its like a beacon.
