Eachine E150 - Big Problems Continue - Part 2

- This e150 heli has never flown. The tail motor would not work properly, so banggood sent me a replacement e.s.c, this took a couple of weeks to arrive.
While waiting i noticed that the main motor was also spooling up erratically, big variations in speed while it was just in a stationary position and no throttle input. I have replaced the e.s.c and continue to have these problems

Was about to fall for this one. Glad I went with Omphobby m2 explore. Almost the same price but the quality and attention to details is second to none. 0 issues to date with hundreds of flight and a few mild crashes
I agree, there is no comparison between the build quality, but to be fair the 150 is a good effort
the throttle changing when u move it around is apart of a feature where it speeds up or slows sown the headspeed to increase or decrease the torq that the tail counters (to speed up or slow down rotation / give the tail a better chance to handle the change) i could be wrong from what i see but this is just my observation from this video. i have seen alot of people having issues with these helis however. rather interesting since it is just omp tech.
Big thank you for your advice. It’s funny how sensitive this tail rotor is to motor speeds. Some days it has handled the torque effect perfectly and other times it’s hopeless
my ESC post fell off… And my motor the magnets around the outside are hating the polls so the motor is rough and clicks… Just such awful quality control. Unfortunately it's one of the nicest flying helicopters I've ever seen if you ever get a chance it's incredible… But I tell you their quality control is very poor in my case and obviously yours… I hope by now some time has gone by your having better luck let me know

You've really had a bad experience with this one. From what I've seen, I'll stick to OMP.
Ya, there clearly was a problem that was just beyond my basic repair abilities. I know other people have encountered electronic problems also. Hopefully they have remedied these issues. I got a replacement and so far it is looking promising 🤞
do you know if e160 tail motor will work on e150.

hello, I need a help about the helicopter Eachine E150 2.4G 6CH 6-Axis Gyro. Could you please check if when you reverse channel 4 on the radio the tail movement of the helicopter also changes direction? normally when the tail control on the radio is moved to the left the tail goes to the right, if channel 4 on the radio is inverted when the tail control on the radio is moved to the left the tail also goes to the left? please check if this is possible. thanks.

@@jaildogomes8929 hi, I am away from my heli gear for a few days, but I replied based on my experience of reversing the switches on any radio transmitter . Logically you are reversing the direction of travel when you do this. Can I ask if you have been successful in reversing channel 1 and 2? Or this unique to channel 4?
@@rcpilots1291 when is possible can you perform this test for me? reverse channel 4 and check if the tail changes direction.
I'm looking to buy the helicopter but I learned to fly with the tail inverted. I would like to know if this is possible in this model.

Try a bigger transmitter maybe its the setting because most 3d rc helli does start up with flick of a button when throttle down it still run

Ohhh crap. I am waiting for my esc and I hope its not like that.....
It’s beginning to look like I may have a’ dud’ on my hands, which is a great pity because I think it is going to be a great heli for most people,, let’s hope you get a good result!
Check the radio throttle curve,

It’s such a pro that this great machine can sometimes have quality control problems
Make sure the throttle is plugged into the proper channel
Thanks for that suggestion, Banggood has accepted a full refund on receipt of returned item, I intend purchasing a new one and hope for better luck with it .
piece of junk, mine is the same change out mother board and the esc now it is spinning out of control.
What a terrible shame that this was released with such problems

@@bobsinclair616 what a gent, thank you kindly for that offer. Banggood firstly sent me a replacement esc, but that did not fix it, that’s why they just gave me a refund and I re ordered another one 🤞
Glad to hear it gonna check this new align t15 got the omp 1 and 2 but tell ya the truth love the oxy 2 and 3 happy flying good luck with heli

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ve had to send mine back for a replacement, which I hope will not have any component failures .
