A song made in FL Studio with a piano!
Recently I’ve been writing my chord progressions in a waltz sort of style where its 1 bass note + chord. I have a lot of fun making those types of progressions, but it quickly became habit only do that! So, in this one I limit that sort of style progression.
What I think is a bit more interesting. I experimented with really extended diminished and augmented chords! I think it gave the piece a really interesting feel. Overall throughout this piece I found that I could make weird harmonic decisions as long as I justify it with a proper context.
Also! I've been composing on piano roll lately so my velocities haven't been that realistic.
Normally I would compose on my midi keyboard, but I don't like being confined to my room so idk ;-; ;-; ;-;
