Impressive, gorgeous rendition of this classic song! When I served in Japan, I was impressed by the love that Japanese people had for American Golden Rock 'n Roll era hits and by the quality of the recordings (remastering) that Japanese radio industry were creating. Thank you for posting, Ciao, L
@@stevenmeyer9674 This song has been coved by many people , but original was Joni Mitchell Buffy Saint Marie was asked to put a new LP together with her songs the only song on the LP that was not hers was the Circle Game and that was the song they picked to release as a single at that time , which of course became a big hit for her , and I do agree i like her version better .
Now that I've heard it, I slightly prefer the Joni Mitchell original, but I do like everything about Nishida Hikaru, including her beautiful mezzo-soprano voice.
Agnes Chan copied Michell`s version but Nishida is close to Buffy Saint Marie`s version which I lke more because its expresses the message of song much better way.
It;s very curious. She was brought up in California and normally sings with an American accent, but here she emphasizes her t's, English-style. I love her voice - mezzo-soprano?
Hikaru Nishida was born in Japan in 1972 but moved to Los Angeles, California with her family in 1973 when her father was transferred there by his electrical equipment firm. There, she attended Clairbourn School in San Gabriel. Nishida visited Japan during her summer and winter vacations. In 1985, Nishida's family moved back to Japan, where she attended the American School in Japan until her graduation in 1990. She then attended Sophia University and graduated in 1994, with a major in comparative history of Japan and China.
What a gorgeous voice and a beautiful woman to boot
That Smile - Amazing. Brightens up the whole world and beautiful as well
Her eyes, her smile and her voice is nothing but beautiful, no more to say.

Yes, when they do something, the Japanese like to do it right.
Also old Levi's jeans. they luv them!
Interesting version. Nice to see the 60's music living on.
Yes, but Joni Mitchell wrote the song in the '60s.
Bravo! Wonderful version of The Circle Game.
She has the most natural smile... so so sweet.
Beauty, Class, Nice voice..If only I were younger I might stand a chance. LOL
Eugene Nault She's married & in her mid 40s now, lol.
What a pretty, clear voice.
wish I spoke Japanese as well as she speaks English...outstanding plus what a great voice and she is so beautiful
Her charming looks and crystal clear lovely voice along with her hand jesters and smile makes this Joni Mitchell song come alive.
Yes, she is the only one, she have great personality and she have nice voice
Beautiful music And you hugs
I like this song, and it's well sang anyway...
So good
And she has a beautiful smile!!
Wonderful rendition!
I love this song. Really lovely.
Wonderful I have to say I think this is the best I have heard anybody sing this song.
I prefer the original recording by Buffy Saint Marie.

She sang this beautifully and she's pretty too. Loved it.
Great talent on this timely tune......
Heard a lot of versions covers of this, best non Joni Mitchell ver. IMO.
Beautiful!
My childhood very favorite song. And go round and round.... 😍
石嶺聡子,she sings excellent !
Nishida Hikaru. Never heard the song before, though. Very nice.
Now that I've heard it, I slightly prefer the Joni Mitchell original, but I do like everything about Nishida Hikaru, including her beautiful mezzo-soprano voice.

Great voice and that smile
She is almost too cute for words.
Have to agree with you!
She can sing any prose.
First Class. My favourite song: Blue light of Yokohama (Ayumi Ishida).
so pretty....
WOW I LOVE TO SPEND THE REST OF MY DAYS WITH HER
Agnes Chan copied Michell`s version but Nishida is close to Buffy Saint Marie`s version which I lke more because its expresses the message of song much better way.
Actually Agnes Chan did not copy Michell's version. It's totally different from the backing track to the vocal line.
Wow 🌹❤️🌷👍
Awesome cover
My favourite Japan song: Blue light of Yokohama (Ayumi Ishida).

soprano definitely
Existentialism redux.
I CANOT GET OVER HOW PRETTY SHE IS
I wonder if Americans sing any popular Chines/Asian songs?

Oh. wow! I didn't know that until I googled her name.
Sweet.
she is mount everst
Che sorriso meraviglioso
The original singer Buffy St Claire. That is better. Greetings from Hungary !
Buffy Sainte-Marie covered this song and sped it up the tempo.
Nice version
Far better than the Joni Mitchel version but Buffy St Marie is still the best performer/interpreter of this song in my opinion.
Nobody does Joni better than Joni, it's like nobody does Dylan better than Dylan.
joni mitchell is not easy...
anyway i love this one
i had a big crush on her!
i have not seen angel in my life but after seeig her i got a confirmation she is a real angel
look what i found in 2024
Who play this music?
👌
What is her name?
Pardon: BUFFY SAINTE MARIE !
quem canta essa musica?
Yes please, i would
Not Joni Mitchel... BUFFY SAINT MARIE
I am not a guy with "yellow fever", but I have to say that there are a lot of beautiful Asian girls in the world.
SHE DID NOT MAKE THIS SONG ;( Joni michelle did this sounds good but Joni mitchele is the original singer
way to slaughter an iconic song.......
GotMeDaBlues ?
+GotMeDaBlues She did a nice job with it. Lighten up.
GotMeDaBlues You’re crazy!!!!
Beautiful!!!
