    I, generally, use a ratcheting, interchangeable regular-sized screwdriver for the initial loosening of screws. Here's a link to the brand I use:

    Get some additional, varying sizes Flathead and Phillips bits while you're at it.
    The adjustable wrenches I use (instead of hex nut wrenches) are Husky, but these (with the red insert) work very well... 6-inch will be used the most:

    If you prefer to use hex nut wrenches, I'd recommend angled/offset ones, like these:

    or a pass-through socket wrench set, like this:

    I never owned a Daiwa. My brain unconsciously always tends to gravitate towards Penn’s and Shimano’s. But the BG really looks like a pretty nice reel. Thanks.

      Thanks for your input, Steve! They're very good reels.... I just have an issue with the drag knobs on these BG's. It's never happened to me, but subconsciously (and consciously), I feel like the line can get wrapped around it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I salute you for what you are doing.. A question is what are the price limits of this machine and what is its strength

    • @TSGReelService
      @TSGReelService  Год назад

      Thanks! Don't know the strengths, brother. Regarding price, it's whatever you're willing to pay for what you're getting. They don't make them anymore, so one in really good condition will be worth quite a bit more.

    Awesome video as always. I still have a BG-30 that’s a tank. Do you not grease the drag washers on these because they’re teflon?

    • @TSGReelService
      @TSGReelService  Год назад +1

      Yes, they are. Thanks for watching! Yes, that's correct regarding the Teflon washers. No grease.
